You could take your soul assault lethal arrow squad as a security team next time. Make them pay the big bucks.

Who the hell would stage a PvE carebear event in the middle of cyrodiil?
That is just asking for it.

The RP community usually just hides in PvE land and will get game mods to actually ban you if you drop a nova on their silly activities. Or even do a horse wheelie.

Apparently all the game mods that never show up in cyrodiil all attend PvE RP events.

Glad you were able to put the smackdown on silly RP activities.

Our guild staged the event which was called "Red Wedding" (Game of Thrones Reference). We invited Abraxus and Cevni to participate as the villains for a bit of fun and they were kind enough to be good sports about it.

Someone appears not to get it.

RP's long history in this genre has long been PvP based and often attracts the finest players with a difference: they also possess imaginations, can think on their feet, while holding to the fundamental belief that an online game is a narrative told by the audience. They also are easily bored and thus resist these common expressions of self-loathing otherwise known as grinding or doing what the game tells you to do.

Often they're your smartest players too. In UO the core Orc RP community only spoke in Orc. In an earlier game the language of choice was Sanskrit.

The only reason some RP events need GM aid is to protect them from protohumans whose level of sophistication reaches no further than screwing with people. Killing someone in a digital world does not make you mighty, anymore than seeking scenarios where not just anyone can attack you makes you weak.
