Just because Celestials are harder in-game, doesn't mean they're harder in lore.

There, I've said it!

Are you comparing the fight with Molag Bal with the fights with the celestials?

In trials you are not imbued with the power of the Amulet of Kings. You are a group of undaunted seeking adventure and loot. Because of the use of the amulet, I'm not really sure if you can do an accurate comparison.

Besides, Molag Bal is the Lord of schemes. How do we know we didn't play right into his hands when we fought him? He could have taken the fall for all we really know.
This one has an eloquent and well thought out response to tha... Ooh sweetroll!

This thread makes me want to see daedric princes in trials in the future. This would be pretty bad ass and they could make the trials bigger; 18/24 man trial runs against daedric princes. Would be cool to see in the future new added land masses in daedric realms that consist of solo content and one trial to fight the prince.

Not the fight. I'm comparing their actual strength (non-game mechanics) in lore. I'm pretty sure the Princes are on a higher level of power than the Celestials (which are the same kind of Gods like Magnus), but it's pissing me off how many people say Celestials are stronger just because they're harder to fight in the game. ^^

Daedra are tougher, but they are also limited in reality, they can't bring their full strength into the Mundus (material plane), so they would be hampered in a fight on Tamriel. (something to do with the Aedra having imbued Creation with their strength, which prevents Daedra bring their full strength into play)

In a fight in Oblivion however they would be so powerful as to be able to kill you with a single blow (or spell or even for the most powerful a look).
