Please Fix Fear - unblockable CC is way too much OP!

Lots of players are complaining already. You can see it everywhere now in pvp, NBs are abusing it. It is just soo unfair, being the only skill that is unblockable. Please ZoS, listen to the majority of players.

Hahahahahaha what's wrong? Is your spell weaving block casting build getting beaten? Awww so sad. I will agree that it shouldn't be the only unblockable skill... But block is too powerful in itself, it should have a counter. Also, drain essence from the vamp line is also unblockable. So is vamp feed. And you can't even cc break the latter.

no problem about blocking, all players have access to blocking. the point is, the only unblockable CC in game can only be use by 1 class, it is unfair for the other 3 class. Stop defending it coz you are an NB player. it is obviously OP no matter where you look at it.

Id say the problem is fear being the only counter to block casting. Every class should have a skill which can do that.

Never once used the fear in combat, I think it's kind of a lame skill. Here's how I play.

Please fix the "Please fix" threads. Those are the only Unblockable threads and is way to much OP!. Alot of players are complaining already.
You can see it all over the forums. People are abusing it.
Please ZOS, listen to the majority of players and auto close-delete such threads.

Killers bladed him when the animation stopped. The guy wasn't even mad. He was like, "epic fight... Awesome use of the vampire move... I did not see that coming"

Isn't nice when players can appriciate being beaten and don't just cry cause wah!!! I got beat "player killed me with a light attack, light attacks are OP!!!" Hahhaha

When Night Silence was bugged I made an entire build based around feed. Shadow image, medium armor evade, cloak, fear, and something else, can't remember. I used to spook the hell out of people.Pop evade > Feed > port to my shade > cloak > stealth and watch them fight my shade. I would do this to groups of 3 people. It was like a horror show.

That sounds like a tonne of fun, do you have any clips of this sort of debauchery?

I'm still sad about Nights Silence, that was so much fun in 7 medium as a vamp.

I'd bet that those that moaned about Night Silence, and went cyring to Mmmy ZOS calling for the nerf are the same one's calling for a Nerf on Take Flight, Blazing Saddles, Reflective Scales, Fea and Lethal Arrow just to name a few.

How we will look back in fondness of all of the things we like using right now, once they are all nerfed to hell.

Hahaha nice!!!! Did you watch the video I posted? At minute 9 starts the vids where I haunt people with shades. Best part of the game is watching people freak out over shades. I had I get tell me they were OP... I almost died from laughter.

This is like the first game in ages where CC's feel underwhelming... like others have said, instead of nerfing fear, their should be other CC's that counter blocking.

Let's be realistic. Everyone was just "whipping this out" all over the place. Without some kind of nerf, Cyrodiil would have been little more than a candygram filled with dynamite.

Not until talons is blockable and has a cc timer.

Standard tactic in our group for ganking unkillable DK, one feed and the other kills and deals with ads (the other players in his group)

I was specifically referring to CC types not specific moves ( their are actually three fear effects, the NB is just the least circumstantial one). Root in and of it self does nothing to counter blocking / block casting as you are still able to attack and block while rooted, all it does is limit your movement.

Talons is a different story as it had a lot of different things thrown onto the root. I think we are on the same side in general as I am arguing not to nerf fear and make it blockable. I just would like to see other CC effects have some sort of an effect on blocking characters.

Could we maybe just stop posting completely personal gripes as something "the majority of players" wants? There is absolutely no proof to this claim, and looking at the comments in this thread, I'd hazard a guess and say it's entirely made up.
