Crafting Writ Question

I have a couple of crafter/bank characters that are about level 22, but approaching max crafting level in enchanting, blacksmithing, or clothing. I am currently a bit frustrated because the highest level writs they can get are for gear that tops out at level 50, but they can make mid-VR gear.

Is this working as intended, and if so why? Given the absence of the posts about this and my efforts to test the writs available over days I am guessing that this is how things are designed. I am just curious as to why. It would be grand if we had some choice in the level of writ we took.

Since your crafting level And your combat level are seperate yes it's working as intended. At level 22 you'll see that you can't collect any material for VR armor.

Each zone is designed to be the same level As you should be and with those level as crafting mats. Same with crafting writs I believe. I haven't done many yet but it makes sense that the more you do them the higher the level required to do them thus the higher level of zone to get them turned in.
