Right but what you and I said are 2 different things. I said that the solo variant shouldn't give any achievements or set gear drops that the GROUP DSA does. You said that it would be an accomplishment to even complete it solo and they would deserve achievements/gear for that. As long as the 2 are different I'm fine with it. And certainly the group version should have better meta achievements and set gear drops than the solo version would. I'm saying this as a person who has been solo'ing ESO since my launch Guild died right before Craglorn, so I'd love a solo version but I don't think it should have rewards on par with the group version.I'd have no problem with ZoS implementing a solo version of DSA as long as you couldn't get any of the achievements or gear set drops that groups have access to.
I do get your point, but I have to disagree, because in my eyes a player who makes a good solo achievement should earn a good reward just like somebody who achieved something with his team.

Wow, its funny how many people hopped on the idea that since its an MMO, there should be NO SOLO CONTENT WHAT SO EVER MEHHHHHH!!!!!!
Funny thing tho, not every wants to ALWAYS play with other people, some people reach the point where they just don't want to have to deal with other people and have an hour of peace and quite enjoying a game that they PAY FOR and have a right to be on (paying for the game gives them that right).
ALSO, sometimes people CAN'T find other people to play with, and that situation can arise when people play the game at say 4:00 AM because of scheduling, and just want to get some enjoyable ESO time in, and have something they can do on their own.
Just because, lets say in a theoretical situation, lets just say in a world where ZOS adds a solo Dragonstar Arena, you would NOT be forced to do it at all (ideally), it would just be something for people to do that either DON'T want to deal with other people at that time, or for people who CANNOT find others to play with.
Yes, ESO is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), that just means that is an online game where you can see other people in the world and POSSIBLY do stuff with them as you are mindlessly killing hordes and hordes of enemies like a total boss. It DOESN'T, however, stand for a game that forces community interaction upon people, we would need to call it a "FCBMMOG" (Forceful Community Based Massive Multiplayer Online Game) (I took Role Playing out because by forcing people to play with others, it kills any potential solo based role playing stories of being the singular hero, as that would not be true in any case anymore).
Sometimes people just don't want to deal with other people (me on some days), or just can't find people (me this morning) to do stuff with. It would be nice, a fantastic quality of life improvement, to add in solo content so that people aren't forced to play with other people. Also, for the people who say that ZOS won't add in solo content and they "don't have time" for such things, don't forget they announced Wrothgar, the "Solo-PvE" zone, so yeah, they do have time for it.

On those days, just open Assasin's creed, open Dragon Age, Open Farcry, go level up your Alts, go replay Skyrim.
All nice options that don't involve creating content that doesn't belong in the end game of an MMORPG.
Id agree if this MMO required grouping for advancement from level 1. It does not - it instead creates a solo appreciative mindset that allows for grouping periodically, even scarcely if the content is completed organically, through the leveling process.
Just because you a.) Have a rigid opinion of what 'belongs' in an MMO, or b) don't like difficult content that doesn't allow you to have others by your side doesn't mean solo endgame content wouldn't provide value in the form of content diversity and player growth.
I'd rather see them add new content (zone or challenges like DSA) instead. Content which could then be solo-focused and specifically designed to accommodate a fun solo experience.
That way, people still have a reason to group up for DSA now and then and we don't just end up with a watered down DSA.
I'd have no problem with ZoS implementing a solo version of DSA as long as you couldn't get any of the achievements or gear set drops that groups have access to.

Screw solo'ing things. If you want a test to test your things of testworthiness. I would hope at some point they'll add training dummies for us to test out new builds and skills.
That'd be something that is a helluva lot more feasible at this point in time.

That will NEVER happen. Oops ;x #2017

True, but a dedicated solo mode would still be better, DSA was not designed with solo practice or anything like that in mind, because eventually it just becomes non-soloable.
Except, this is not a solo game?
Even though ESO is an MMORPG it also is and Elder Scrolls game, which means that it is designed for both multiplayer and single player gameplay. I.e. Zenimax tries to motivate people to group up, but it is not their intention to force people to group up.
