in 24 writs I've had 3 survey maps and not a single Nirncrux.

Is this normal? If it is , I have to say don't bring new content out like this because it's absolutely rubbish. after 8 months this is the sort of BS you provide to extend crafting. another nail in the coffin. pathetic

    Sorry but it's just bad luck, random rewards do that sometimes, I did a few writs at the beginning just to see what they were like, and I got a survey first time on alchemy.

    But Randomly generated rewards are totally random, and you could be the poor sod who does another fifty and still doesn't get them, or tromorrow you might do all the writs and get surveys for all of them.
    People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

    well I have now done another 9 writs got one survey map, and one nirncrux from it.

    You have a 25% chance per writ to get a survey. If the survey is upper Craglorn and either blacksmithing, woodwork or clothing, you have a 1.25% per node to get a nirncrux. Harvesting a normal upper Craglorn node has a 0.25% per node to get a nirncrux. The bug where Upper Craglorn Blacksmithing nodes had a 100% chance of giving nirncrux has been fixed.

    The dev's have already posted feedback that they know the crafting writs are not really worth for thoses who have maxed crafting, and they are looking at adding 'master writs' with different rewards

    It's just bad luck/RNG not working in your favour. For the last writ surveys (about 16 in upper crag), I have not received any nirncrux. It's fine as is, at least it's slightly harder to get it again. I do, however, when I farm mats, I've always got lucky within 10 minutes on random nodes (2 instances in which i got fortified back to back!)
