New skills to sorc instead of pets

What do you think about such skills?
skill:Dark Spikes:
Covers you with magical darkness spikes. Steals HP(or MP or stamina) from enemies that hit you.
(Also will be usefull for tank)
Skill:Bio:
deals Damage Over Time and lowers an enemy's Attack.
(hello archers)
SKill: Blackhole
A black hole forms in front of you and pull in nearby targets.(max target limited)
Skill:Gravity Trap (instead of lighting splash for example)
Summons a magic pentacle that decreases the Movement and Action Speed of those who walk on it by a set percentage.
Skill:Absorb magicka give a shield that absorb magick damage and convert it to casters magicka.Lasts for 4 seconds.

Ofc not to give all.Just some idea's:)

    kongkim and k9mouse.Video prof where pet's can give +10% to dmg or tank dungeon boss or trials(v14 ofc).They die in 1 hit,they don't give +++ to dps,they don't have normal control panel.

    They they can buff them for that. its stupid to remove them.
    Must say i have not done trials. But i have use it in VR dungeons and was doing fine.
    And you have comtrols to send it to attack or stop and get back. what more do i need?

    Pets are tanks (aka meat shields) -- they take some of the aggro off of me while I do the DPS. Good for solo'ing

    They don't have much use in dungeons because semi-weak, buggy AI-controlled pets will (almost) always lose to players, but that doesn't make them entirely worthless. Pets are great for soloing content. I loved, LOVED running around with my pets at lower levels, the pure visuals were why I chose a sorc originally, and they still have their use even in higher vet - saved my fragile...self in Lower Crag delves a ton of times.

    They give sorcs something cool looking and special. And yeah, it might not matter much when it comes to Trials and endgame, but it still matters to a lot of people. I'd be sad if they removed sorc pets for good.

    So after the blackhole sucks in targets what happens to them? Suspended indefinitely? LOL this would be funny in PvP could suck in some annoying opponents and just keep them there 'til the battle is over. LOL.

    hehe @Magdalina I knew you'd comment on this thread!

    sorc summons are half useless especially in high vet areas but they're fine the way they are. they don't need to be replaced with more useful skills.
    imagine, if they are replaced by more useful, powerful abilities... there will be 100s of "nerf sorcs" threads and we might be nerfed to the ground!

    my clannfear grew on me. the follower icon above his head is a tad annoying but I adore him, useful or not. I'll be a sad sorc if the summons are removed from the game.

    interesting ability ideas though op

    I really like lightning flood except that I'd increase its damage considerably. Combine it with curse and heavy resto attacks and you got some good unblockable damage against those perma blocking targets. :)

    Magdalina you will be dissapointed...but when Spellcrafting comes all will can use pets.
    k9mouse you have Crit surge heal.It's enough for soloing.
    Messy1 Black hole-AOE pull with not big radius and limited counts (for example max 3 targets.For one morph it can add snare which decreased over time after pulling.
    SnarkyQBthere will be 100s of "ZOS buff sorc" when they scale destro/resto with magicka+spell power.(ofc if nothing in skills don't change)

    I didn't want to tell you how to play dear k9mouse.But currently for to do "pets" usefull ZOS need fix UI/buff pets/...also if take attention on future and ALL will have pets than ZOS should:
    1) buff Sorc's pet for x2 amount
    2)Or give to sorc active buff to them.Also will be great to share some DMG from sorc to his pet's

    If they introduce more spells, they also should introduce more skill/spell slots for PC-Gamers.

    I hate being limited to just 5 slots + Ultimate. The swapping is useless, because during a stress situation it never works for certain...

    Also they should introduce player housing, where people can drop their trophies and pets...

    Way.. is that hard to choose between skills and spells? Think its a little more fun then having them all on a large bar. here you have to find the right combo of skills and spells that you feel is good to you.

    But i really like them to do player housing :)

    Sounds like you want sorcs to turn into DKs.
    As a sorc tank I will say this is not needed.If any of the above happens viability will turn into overpoweredness.

    I hate having 200 hot bars cullter my skill like so many WoW clones do. I have very happy to 5+1 skill. ZOS did that right. I have we have to agree to disagree, it seems that you just hate pets and many of us who like / love our pets. I guess that style of play isn't for you. Sorc can play other ways or may be a different class might be better fitted for your play style.

    I was thinking about this the other day too. I actually like the idea of replacing summoning for sorcs with a better skill line. Then I would take summoning and make it a world skill line.

    As a world skill line, summoning would have a lot more potential for expansion down the road.

    Like it or not, makes no diff, but TES / ESO is built on lore. Mages are the only ones who can summon critters from Oblivion. From a lore POV, make summoning a world skill line will not be good logic.

    screw that, just make the pets have worth while damage... at least 150 dps from each of them and i know they will be much loved by Endgame Sorcs.
    I play every class in every situation. I love them all.

    If we do that (I think it is a silly idea, TBH) there is another problem. To rise armor and weapon skills for class, we have to use them, like all other TES games.

    In the mage guild skill tree, we rise the skill line by finding lore books (good reads BTW <3 ), that will will fit in the standard way to rise those sill lines for weapons.

    I still think it is best for that we just keep the summons on the sorc skill lines as it is the best place for it. At some point, I will like to see a necromancer summons under the sorc skill lines as well -- not just a Daedra one.

    yeah I do agree with you on that. it's all rock paper scissors.
    sorcs will be asking for buffs and non sorcs will be asking for nerfs.
    I'll live. not that I like that spell power scaling for staff abilities though...
    if that IS gonna happen, what's the point of upgrading your staves?

    What sorcs need is some sort of knockback ability that isn't a projectile.

    A shield of some sort that explodes when hit with a melee attack and procs a knockback effect.

    That and a better self heal. I would like some equivalent to healing ward but as a sorc class skill. Heals on damage taken or after a certain time.
