Yes, I realize this is a dead horse and probably a duplicate post of a duplicated post that was duplicated prior to that.
But I don't really care... it's the first time I've said it. I was about to post this in another thread, but I don't want it hidden 11 pages deep. Similarly, I think it's rude to @ the ZOS teams for every personal opinion we have.
That said:
I believe a couple of quick and easy changes to soul gems for PvP would help relieve a LOT of players' current frustrations:
- Their cost in gold needs to be reduced or they need to be EXTREMELY more common in the PvP reward mails.
- No need for them to be 160-ish g per gem now. Either up the $$ reward in the PvP mail rewards so that a player can purchase 2-4 gems per mail or lower the cost so that you can get AT LEAST ONE gem for that mail.
- Cyrodiil vendors need to offer unfilled gems for 720 AP.
- This would allow a player to resurrect up to ten people for what used to be the cost of a Forward Camp.
- This will cause some players to encounter the soul gem filler DoT (from the World skill line) from time to time in PvP.
A lot of people are so up-in-arms about FCs and I STILL see zerglings running clean over friendly corpses. Perhaps making soul gems easier to come by will loosen up this greed.
