Depends on what you're looking for... I like the natural and swampy feel of the AD zones, but that's just me

That's a hard one..I'd say apart from Stonefalls everything looks nice :D

Though my 3 favourite zones in eso are:

    - Eastmarch
    - Alik'r Desert
    - Coldharbour

I like all three faction area's, I'm not a fan of the Alik'r desert, because you can only take so much sand, but even that isn't bad.

AD has a slight advantage overall, then DC, then EP, but EP has some amazing lava scenes that can't be matched. All in all it's extremely close.

But I'ld say the faction with the best scenery is M'aiq the Liar, who get everywhere (he is a faction all on his own isn't he??)

DC hand down. Each zone has a unique environment, and they are very, very cool.

EP starts off really good, and then you get 2 zones of swamp that are uuuuuugly.

AD zones have pretty much the same look all the way through.

AD is the most scenic but all very similar until the last one (Reapers March)
EP has the most diversity. Fire & Ice.
DC has the best cities with a little more diversity than AD.

EP was the only faction I didn't feel like I was doing a zone over again.

It's too bad the linear leveling system is tied to the landscape. It would have been much more interesting to experience Tamriel in it's entirety from the start.

1000% agree, and its why I made this thread. They look the same... I was hoping for some variation and we sort of got some with reapers march

DC overall. Glenumbra is gloomy and moody, with its dark forests and marshes and graveyards. Stormhaven is not actually stormy and kind of brightens things up with it's beautiful coastline. Rivenspire is dry and craggy and intimidating. Then you move on to the Redguard zones that are exotic and beautiful.

But if I had to choose a single zone, not an entire faction, it would be Auridon. That is lovely.

Auridon is a very relaxing place to hang out when you're sick of the grind and don't feel like PVPing.

I feel like all of the factions have their charm points though. Glenumbra, Stormhaven, Stonefalls, and Eastmarch are all very nice, too.

As much as i want all Bretons dead those slimy back stabbing sods. They do have great looking cities. It's my favourite faction for sure. Although as soon as Wrothgar is released i won't be seeing much of Daggerfall city.

With the dual environment of Bangkorai, the vast and scenic Alik'r Desert and Stros M'Kai, and the haunting locales of Rivenspire, DC has hands down some of the best zones. Not too much of a fan for Stormhaven and Betnikh though.

My biggest problem with the AD zones is they are all very similar (so much green).

    My top 5:

    1) Rivenspire
    2) Craglorn
    3) Alik'r Desert
    4) Grahtwood
    5) Stonefalls

Nod to DC overall, without question. I was most impressed with how they made High Rock (which I frankly expected to be the most boring province) quite interesting with its gothic overtones and gloomy atmosphere.

But if anything, ESO has convinced me that 'Hammerfell' should be the next major entry in TES franchise. The wealth of lore and the stark beauty of the landscape, combined with the impressive architecture: it's everything a good TES game should have.

The desert zones are really well done in this game. It's the main part of DC I like. AD zones are nice overall, but again, the forests in DC/AD get stale. EP has an overuse of giant mushrooms and dull tones that doesn't keep my interest very well. Shadowfen would be awesome if it was a bit darker and had taller grasses.

Overall AD, then DC, then EP.

    Ebonheart Pact.

Really diverse, every region has its own visual identity and all of them are really well crafted. Stonefalls has some beautiful, huge landscapes. The rocks are hand crafted, the flora is amazing... (I do love Morrowind, so that might be biased)... Same for Deshaan, with a bit of green and the amazing city of Mournhold. When you get to Shadowfen, that region is crazy confusing and awesome (confusion is good for me; it's really immersive to feel lost and angry at that swamp) and then... Skyrim. Oh, I love snow. I love nord culture. So that is excellent... And the parts where snow starts to melt in Eastmarch are amazing. The Rift has it's classical, beautiful autumn looks and is also great. I mean, come on, even Bal Foyen is great and it's barely considered a zone.

DC takes the second place, with a bit of variety, amazing cities (both Breton and Redguard ones), the great Alik'r desert (which is beautiful by itself) and Rivenspire which is a personal favorite of mine not only because of the great scenery and the beautifully crafted, gloomy town of Shornhelm but also because of the great storyline.

AD is just a huge amount of plain and boring green-ish forests with ugly elven architecture. The only good things in AD are the khajiiti stuff... 'cause, you know... khajiit >>> Alkosh >>> everyone else.

I love Glenumbra with its medieval feel but my favorite is Eastmarch.

I can't stand the AD zones anymore. Aside from them all looking the same, the contstant never ending rain drives me crazy and kills my motivation to even do anything in the zones. It's bad enough that it all looks the same; the lack of weather variety makes it worse.

I like most EP zones outside of Shadowfen and there are quite a few DC zones which I enjoy. That being said, I found AD rather disappointing though it did have some of the more interesting quest lines.
