If I'm unhappy with my character after using pledge of mara, can I bank the ring, delete the character then make a new one wih same name, withdraw the ring and still be able to gain the 10% XP bonus?

✭✭✭✭✭I assume you'd still have to find someone to pledge with, but that sounds like it would work.

Louis✭✭✭id swap the rings out for something better, it doesnt really make much of a difference in terms of exp gain.alot of people look at this signature, i guess youre one of them.2 -

✭✭✭If you've used the pledge, I think not, but tbh most rings are better than it unless both of you are always playing at the same time.

Yes, that's a good idea. I have mine unused, still. One item more only few ppl will have in the future. Like my Jaedi and Lire runes...

Nothing, you'd just be screwed.
They are not interchangeable, you cannot get more. Luckily, I suppose, they really don't offer anything totally great.

Jagath✭✭✭the rings of mara are pretty much junk unless you are playing with a close reliable friend. Once used they are tied to that toon and partner and if you change either its time to pawn the rings.1

BigBadZeroSoul ShrivenSo I deleted my character and re-created him with the same name, i then fought an enemy without the rings of mara equipped, taking a note of the XP gain, then defeated the same enemy after eqipping the rings and there was definitley an XP boost. Before Ring Gain : 64 XP, After Ring Gain: 69 XP, (not exactly 10% extra tho???) So it does work!!! and the rings didn't go to waste

✭✭✭✭✭Honestly, the Rings of Mara are a cute gimmick and nothing more. My husband and I play our mains as married and we got a good giggle out of the animation. We have other characters we also level together and it's not a huge difference in XP gain. The rings are just a fluff item. I still have the one that came with my game and if I ever use it, it'll be for RP reasons, not for the XP buff, which is negligible.PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!1 -

NotHappy✭Well I am glad I came here first. I was going to offer a werewolf bit to any lady who would marry me just to get the buff. But I wanted the perfect marriage. After the ceremony we go our separate ways and never have to talk again. But looks like you have to group to get the buff. Maybe in the next update they can do a married but separate status like w2's?0
