Enchanting Survey: Craglorn III

Guys, any1 found another chapters in Craglorn? i got like 10 ench maps, but everyone has III number. This annoying place with wasps
looks like I and II missed by ZOS?

✭✭✭✭✭III is the worst. There are what, 6 Wasps with 5000 plus health? I could get 3 of the nodes there, but that was it.
Was this after the patch today? I was hoping they would have moved that spawn point (for the wasps)Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

First of all, we're all not at max level, or optimized for DPS. Trust me, there is no way I can take these out on my own. Please don't bother to say I'm playing the game wrong. Those are VR11 wasps, I'm VR2. Maybe there is a build that will work, but that's not the point.
Either, all Survey nodes should be harvestable without a fight, OR
they should spawn in an area appropriate for your OVERALL level, not your crafting level.
So far, most have, so I think this is merely an unintended placement.2 -

you can grab only 2-3 nodes by this way

Esha76✭✭✭✭✭Just because some people have builds that allow them to pull this off, doesn't make it ok. This is the only survey I have come across placed on top of a pack of mobs. I have never gotten any other enchanting survey than III. And no, I should not have to bother someone to stop what they are doing to come help me grab a few runes, which will probably be just more Ta anyway... Nor am I going to spend 1000's of gold to change up morphs to handle a pack of wasps.

Tried that, you can only aggro a couple of them to the pet, the other 3 or 4 will take me out. I racked up about 800 in repair costs trying to do this with just about every skill on my character.Or you could just Critical Surge and Pulsar spam them down, lol.
Not at VR2, tried that too. Even with the skill that knocks them back, you can only knock back so many for so long. Your not getting the mana regen from kills when your just trying to keep them off of you, so you quickly run out mana and potion cool down timers dont' work in your favor.I was killing them with s&b lol come on people

Note that I just became a VR 9 when I first tried to fight the 5500 HP wasps.
The pet strategy worked for me, but it did require quick timing, ( I got as close to the node as I could by sneaking and then sent the pet in). I forget to mention that I used streak to get out of there quick.
I also tried the Critical Surge and Pulsar spam technique, but the first time, I died because I could not keep my shields up due to losing the magicka on the spamming the pulsar. BUT, the second time, I used the Negate Ultimate, and that seemed to give me a head start on the damage and I barely killed them all.
BUT, I agree with your point because the developers inferred that the writs were suppose to be a mini quest line for both beginner and veteran crafters, so I can't imagine a VR 5 or lower taking on these wasps! That would be one awesome player though.

It's hard to say, a V2 technically shouldn't be in craglorn, so it's midly odd that's where ZOS sends people and to have namely one Survey and pretty much the only one that will require compbat with 6 WASP is kinda odd (or maybe just funny) One could argue that Craglorn is a Group zone, So it should be expected that you'll group for the surveys as well. I normally try to help folks when they advertise in zone chat.
Maybe DKs have it easier, going in and dropping banner and using Inhale and Pulse works pretty good. I found the key for the Wasps and Scorps was to keep block up as much as possible. Seems almost like I'm cheating that I can cut the inhale animation short and go right back to block.

Beesting✭✭✭✭I got map 3 yesterday, my first enchanting survey. So i got all excited for kuta's and went to find the spot, killed the wasps and got 6 ta's
that was well worth it

that was well worth it
It's why I quit doing BS, Cloth and Woodworking. With the nerf to Nirncruxes and the cost of 100 mats each, It simply didn't pay out. Those days where all I got was a single diamond for my BS daily really stung. 1 Survey every 3-4 days and no nirncruxes to boot makes it too expensive.
But thankfully others haven't quit, lots of gold for the taking in selling raw mats!
