Since the crafting writs have been implemented this game is becoming a waste of time.
I can't solo Craglorn, well I can actually, but I need 2 other people along to progress now. I wander the world doing little quests I missed but it's kinda boring really.
I can run writs till I'm blue in the face, I have all crafts at a high level, but that just costs me time and money with little reward. A waste of time and effort.
I guess I have my alts to level but I did not expect to run into this 'waste of time' wall. Disappointing.
I don't mind grouping and my son and I have a lot of fun as a team but having to get more people together just to play the game is a bit of a downer.
Oh well back to Stalker, my real home.

✭✭Um, so just don't do writs, there are other things, Dailies/Pledges, dungeons, etc. These are still happening, people are still advertising them, fewer people are responding, but that just means you are in demand.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

AssaultLemming✭✭✭✭I'm in a similar place where I find there isn't a lot of rewarding content lately. I pretty much solo farm craglorn, run dungeons for dailies and the new helmets, and do trials when they come up. I would do Dsa more but it just takes too long. I've gone back to playing other games while I wait for them to roll out new content. Champion system looks like it will be a major grind so I'm not holding out much hope for that from a content perspective, the justice system might provide some short term entertainment.0

My son is nearly 50. He is a successful glass blower.
This is what I do for fun. No one will go with me, it is probably 4 - 5 miles a trip, so maybe that's why. :

I have all 8 slots filled. A VR9 char and all the way down to my level 4 mule. I have all the classes fighting and I am alright with a sorc but not great with the rest. I have things to do but my lead is pretty well stopped. I'll grind a bit but the game has become less interesting and really the crafting writs were the straw.0 -

Nothing special. An old i5 750 and a GTX 780. The 30" 2560x1600 monitor is pretty cool though. That's why the screeners look good, they are pretty hi rez.0 -

✭I don't mind having a high level group zone. That's awesome.
What I don't like is not getting a choice. Personally, I'd prefer to solo to cap and have the "option" of doing group stuff along the way.
This "group" or bust stuff just isn't fun for everyone.
That said, I am level alts. PvPing..doing writs and getting a Craglorn group when I can.
Is the game a waste of time? Well.. ya. All video games are..that's the point. If you're not having fun just play something that is fun. Personally, I'm looking forward to Dragon Age on PS4.0 -

Parenting advice on an Internet forum for a video game.
This game is no more of a waste of time than playing sports, watching football, going to the movies, going camping, etc. They are all leisure activities meant to be enjoyed by anyone willing to partake in them.
Surely you cannot play video games and think they're a complete waste of time.

Kryborn✭Some time it's best to just take a break. I was lucky enough to get invited to Beta for ESO last summer. So, by the release date, I was actually sick to death of the newbie areas, and I couldn't take leveling up another character. So, I quit. But just for a few months. I came back a month or so ago, and I'm "in love" with the game again. Having a blast. So, maybe just step away for awhile.
