Vampire Overhaul

After playing through the new werewolf, I personally think the changes added are great and make playing it a lot of fun and are giving it a lot more depth. That said, I think vampires also need an overhaul, to add more depth to play (I do not think bat swarm spam could be considered "depth" ), make it more fun and to bring it onto par with the werewolf which now has 6 skillpoints extra (3 skills and 3 morphs). Making some lore-friendly changes and adding in popular player requests as well as adding some depth to play would be welcome at this point with this neglected and often-nerfed skill line.

Some suggestions of skills that could be added which I though about, but which gladly can be expanded upon, are the following:

-Vampiric Charm

When slotted, it changes your appearance to your pre-vampire form. When used, it hides you from evil hunter for 3 seconds
Morph 1 - grants you 25% resistance to fighter's guild damage also for 3 seconds
Morph 2 - allows you to make a hostile, non-elite humanoid npc fight for you for 30 seconds (like a pet)

-Vampire Ancient (Passive)
1st point invested - increases the duration of stage 1 -3 by 50%
2nd point invested - increases the duration of stage 1 -3 by an additional 50%

-Vampiric Slam (Stamina-based ability example)

Knocks enemy back several meters and does X amount of damage

Morph 1: also stuns opponent for y seconds
Morph 2: Also restore z amount of mana

The first two abilities I think will be popular with players, and the third one is just an example of a stamina-based ability (similar to the mana-based ability of the werewolf)

Please feel free to comment on these suggestions and add your own ideas. If it was not for popular player demand I think we would still be sitting with the old, buggy werewolf ;)

    imo vampires need a remake: apereance and skills, that fire weakness is insane + fighters guild skills = whats the point to be vamp anyway? you look like a zombie and die instant from all players/ fire users. sugestions:
    - fire weakness 20% stage 1 , 30% stage 2 , 40% stage 3 and 50% stage 4
    - vamps should have light/healing type spells weakness also like fire, heals and light type atk should harm them just like fire
    - vamp stages should increase dmg by all vampire skills by 3% for each stage
    - that drain skill should work vs bosses also, stun who can , if cant be stunned just drain his hp and thats it and make the cast time faster
    - and a new skill darkness/bats armor/ aura- reduces dmg by 10-25% and deals x dmg pers second 5-8meters around you and heals you x % from that dmg, last 10 seconds

    Bat swarm and dark stalker are ,more or less, the only reasons to be a vamp in ESO.Personally,i think that drain is only useful while questing as it sucks in both pvp and dungeons/trails.Mist form isn't that bad,but compared to other survivability spells available in the game, it isn't really worth the skill slot required to use it.I totaly agree that the skilline is really tedious to play and needs an overhaul.Anyway,my two cents:
    How about a passive that restores a little bit of health when you kill an enemy.I think that would be really useful and it could possibly replace the savage feeding passive (really who uses that?).I could be named blood feast or blood bath or something along these lines.

    Hilarious that I actually entirely missed this thread. Ah, forum celebrity. /sarcasm

    Anyway, found this whilst searching for something that really breaks down how the fire weakness in vampires works and just wanted the OP to know that I love their suggestions. My HOPE is that A) vampires will get an overhaul similar to werewolves. Vampires may have been better off that werewolves atlaunch but they were STILL implemented really poorly and have only gotten worse rahter than better.

    Failing that my OTHER hope is that B ) Vampires will get things via Spellcrafting that actually add to the feeling/experience of BEING a vampire. Spells that grant the abilities described in the OP would be VERY welcome!

    Personally the only ability in your list i find worthwhile is charm.

    Though I would still rather have them work on an entire new vampiric bloodline, than just throwing NS a few more abilities.
