From a casual pvpers PoV:
We (DC) have something called Project Yellow= wipe the yellow from the map at all costs.
The reason?
The guild which shall not named (rymes on PIE) is controlling/manipulating 2 factions against DC. Conspiracy theory you say? Sure!
But then explain to me the following:
Every night for the past 8 days, at the same MINUTE DC gets fully assaulted by red and yellow..every..single..night..
On the puprle alliance theory:
Now yes, we have people who keep telling in zone "Dont attack red"..but you know, i dont care and many people i know and by the answers in Z, they dont care either.
Overall, i like to fight red more because most of them have no clue how to play and die pretty good and fast and come back..most of the times.
Yellow on the other hand shows up with there whole population to crash/Lag us to death and then spam silly emotes when we log back in and are dead.
So please, orange alliance, go chuck it where the sun doesnt shine.

I agree sometimes the non organized players can rampage trough the wilderness.
About me having no clue..well that depends on the PoV i guess.
The rest of my post you so nicely ignored, i stop typing here now and go play.
I could trow in some more useless bait like you "hardcore" pvpers allways do..but i wont.

The opinion you have is yourse, for sure and its fine.
The only problem is, the timing is as perfect as it can be when red/yellow decide to attack blue, that in my opinion, a player or a group of players seem to perfectly time the combined assault.
But in the end, it doesnt matter as long as people can still have fun i guess..its just a shame, humans in general tend to cheat there way in what ever situation life trows at them, game or RL.

AD outnumbers the other factions perhaps even combined and definitely in off hours. Regardless of history lessons, yellow PvDoored the campaign the night before their brutal purple tinted struggle cuddle. If you own all the scrolls and almost all the keeps you will get DP'd.
Don't like DP? Don't nightcap. Spread the news!
It's getting really old how people are under the impression that just because North America is sleeping the rest of the world should sit back and wait for us to wake up. Someone's night time is someone day time, this is a world wide game, this type of thinking is extremely self centered. In reality there is no such thing as "night capping"....pretty sure the sun was up when those Aussies where capping keeps....just my 2 cents
Aoe_Barbecue wrote: »Don't like DP? Don't nightcap. Spread the news!
This night-capping thing has got old now. It's an MMO, there are people playing from all over the world, with the majority playing in their own prime time, not everything revolves around your wake and sleep times.
So oceanic should do what then? Go back to PvE because you get your stuff taken.
Keep up your DP, and use night-capping as the excuse. At least there will be some consistency in what you say and do that way.

Guess you guys aren't the best tacticians....

Everyone fights everyone. That's the way it works. The zergtrains through Bleakers and Sejanus corridors are always going to happen because it's almost impossible to corral the pugs away from those areas, ESPECIALLY with the FC removals.
Why does EP head west to Aleswell? Same reason DC always heads east to Chalman. Potato. (essentially it's mindless pugs being mindless)
As for DiE, they're very, very vocal about hitting AD, because AD has been very, very keen about hitting EP due to the defection. Aside from farming Warden last night, nearly every day it's a long term project to get Alessia flipped red (as AD defends that as if it was their last scroll keep, it's not an easy task).
The focus of EP, after the last pre-maintenance map flip by AD was to crater their points per hour gain to as low as possible (sub +50 if possible) for as long as possible for EP to 1) erase the huge lead they built in very short time and 2) then gain as many points on them as possible so that when AD flips the map again (and it will) there's cushion to keep them out of first place.
This has meant pounding AD in the jimmies repeatedly, even without scrolls.
Lately though DC has been holding large amounts of AD territory (whereas EP keeps getting stymied at Alessia, only occasionally flipping BM) consistently without much contest from AD (because they'd rather run the Sejanus corridor it seems than get Brindle/Roe back), up to and including the huge giveaway yesterday where AD literally gave every single home keep to DC so they could fail to hold BRK for a few more minutes.
This means that DC has been earning very large points evaluation ticks during the day the last couple days, catching them up to EP.
At the same time, AD wants their scrolls back. They see one of us hitting the other and they jump in on the double team. Notice every time DC hits Chalman, AD rushes to BRK and starts sieging? Even bypassing Drake/Sej to do so? They want BRK, they want that close spawn to Arrius. Same with Ash/Glade.

Which of course never works because thats a telegraphed strategy.
The closest AD has come to taking the scroll out of Arrius in the last week came tonight when TKO attempted a 15 man front door/front door door bust that failed after capping the first flag.
That was exactly 86 seconds from the time the keep chirped, too. EP is very very fast on that keep. (yes I stopwatch time clutch keep cap attempts, to see how we are doing on ninjaing. even without forward camps everywhere, the time to beat is still less than 2 minutes for most keeps north of BRK/Ash)
But another 10 seconds or so and that scroll was pulled from the keep, it was that close.
Note that at the time Sej, BRK, and Drake were all red. AD does a horrible job of trying to make the chain and forgets all it causes is turtling in the next keep in the chain, no matter the final goal. (if even half of AD knew how to defend the home triangle, it would never work for you either)
