Removal of camps has left me with no will to fight in pvp anymore. <long>

This is just how I feel. I Played a few hours with no camps and IMO it just aint the same. I played a TON of DAOC which had no camps and had a god awful wait on the teleport pad. Which was not that bad cause you would have every 10 mins or so a fresh batch of troops on the battlefield. It worked pretty good.

IMO removing something that has been in the game since the start and not adding something to offset the pain just dont make sense. I am just wore out from all the horse riding and ganking. I played 2-4 hours everyday in Cryodiil. Now I have not even logged in. The PVP guilds I am in. If you look at the locations of players. Most of them are not in Cryodill anymore. Before the removal of camps. Almost every VR14 was in Cryodill fighting.

With this said. I dont want the camps back but they need to add something to cut down with all the horse travel. my horse has over 200,000 miles on the odometer. I have traveled all over Tamriel. Frankly, I am a tired worn out VR14 from all the travel.

Maybe add some more wayshrines in Cryodiil?
Maybe give us a horse speed boost in Cryodiil?
Maybe add a airport so we can air drop on our targets?

Maybe add a river boat so we can travel by water?

They already said they're adding the back in as soon as they finished testing some changes to them.

I hear you in that since the removal I've felt there is less point to play. There is much less dynamism, in every meaning of the word, to the game now. Last night I spent about half the time I "played" waiting (sitting around) for decisions to be made on what action the group should undertake next. Don't get me wrong as it was/is a good group of folks who have a great sense of strategy. But I think the "lulls" so to speak are due to people understanding when there just aren't enough numbers and then having to figure out what is worth even trying. Maybe that is really fun for some, but it's slow for me.

Your pvp guild. Where are they at? Might they be farming undaunted passives with undaunted dailies and trying to get those worthwhile sets?

That isn't a reflection on the removal of camps. They would be farming those PvE dungeons regardless of the state of camps.

i myself am more concered with the fact cyrodill is Elder shields online than the fact FCs are gone.

They will add FCs back in eventually

They will be back no more blood porting, or bypassing the transient system, you will be able to rez in the ring of the camp according to Brian Wheeler, but it is not as easy to do as some folks think takes a bit to get done, you will still have to ride to a battle and then you can rinse and repeat to your hearts content or until your out of tents..LOL

Forward camps was a way to get to pvp action fast. That's what I want from PVP.
What's left without forward camps?

Well , I feel exactly the same I haven't logged on in a week now and ive unsubbed from my monthly sub. I said removing the camps was a step too far at the time and now they're going to bring them back but with that aswell as now having to do PvE (undaunted) to compete in PVP fully I think that's its for me .

Perhaps tf2 or some other arena type game is good for you? I love the FC removal. Prevents the impulse spammers from lagging out. Attlee.

You can stop suggesting other games to me. I want to play ESO and I want it to cater to me! But I'm pretty sure the forward camp removal rather chases people away. There has to be a way to do some quick pvp action.
Sooner or later we'll get some arena style pvp here, too, I'm sure.
The development of the game so far has been amazing, I think. This is why I want to stick around.
