Loss of VR level with the new patch?

hi I just logged into my VR charcter today and I last night I was 76% through VR13 and now its showing im back to 1%
Where has my level gone?
Do I have to level gain or is it a UI problem?

I know there is a UI problem showing 4 million xp til next level but seeing as I was very close to my next level has anything reset or is it just showing the wrong thing?

Has anyone else seen any weird things with there XP bar since last night?

This is from my simular post on the Forums so you are not alone.

I though something was fishy but didn't write down my XP totals so I was not sure. After the patch update I had 1,114,135 Veteran XP points. Playing the game for a while I did one undawnted pledge and a few other things and my XP had increased to 1,127,498. I wrote down that figure. I went to Cyrodiil and completed several Bounty Quests. I happened to look at my Veteran XP figure. It had dropped to 1,124,576 a loss of 2922 points. I am a VR14 so the points should just be accumulating. If I am going to be loosing XP then what is the sense of playing this game? Don't understand why the loss in XP . Can someone explain what is going on.

Update since original entry.

Well logged out of the game and then logged back in after a while and my total XP had dropped to 1,114,135 which is what I started out with today.

You are sure you did not level up?
new xp to gain level is 1 million not 1440k. so being around 70% up you should level up and the rest carry over.
