I can do it solo but won't get the 600k, id get maybe 200-300k.
Grouping helps me since I am built as a tank, not a dps. We had a group of 5 and were still getting plenty of xp each. We even had a vr2 in there and he was also getting xp, not sure how much, but he wasn't complaining.0 -
G0ku✭✭✭✭As i got from VR12 to VR14 spending a time of 2x 4 Hours on saturday and sunday morning this weekend. This means I got 350.000 xp per hour
My advice bases of knowledge before 1.5.4.
All you need is:
Magicka
Destrostaff with Impulse (buff weapon damage)
Evil Hunter
AOE-Ult like Batswarm, Standard, Nova, Flawless Dawnbreaker
Heal
Works best on the spot with Ice or Lightning Atronarchs.
Note that you get most exp when you go in a group of two with no leechers around.
The big atronarch will give you about 990 xp, the little ones about 472 exp. As a duo of a DK and a Vamp Sorc and the other a duo of a DK and a NB with Flawless Dawnbreaker we were able to pull up to 4-5 group together.
As soon as they reach us I put down standard an start bombing just as my grindpartner does. After the first 5 secs of bombing my ult is already charged again and I put the second standard. Each of a group gets you about 3.000 exp. Pull 5 together and you get 15.000 exp. You can run in circle in one spot or trough all 3 (fire, lightning, ice).
Fire is the slowest because fire atronarchs won´t get into impulse range themselves as they are ranged, you need to chain them into the aoe. Ice is the easiest imo as the atronarch fall the fastest. Lightning gives the most exp per hour because this in the only spot where you can pull easily five groups at once (if you got the damage to deal with them).
I got lots of loot, all 3 atronarch trophies which were a pain to farm elsewhere. In those 8 hours of grinding I got VR12-VR14, 30-40k gold after repairs and selling the loot to the vendor.
Before Update 5 I was leveling my chars mostly with quests, a little grind here and there. Now it´s just terrible to try level by questing and therefore I put this advice for people who feel like me. G0ku✭✭✭✭Look at the map. There is a crater in the center of spellscar.
There are 3 areas around the crater in the middle center. One is containg the fire atronarchs (northeast from center), one is containing the ice atronarchs (south) and on the lightning ones (northwest from center).

There are some details about these stages which increases the difficulty doing it without a DK. Until we finally made it most groups to beat this had two DK´s with them. I´m proud of it and therefore I show off for it and I won´t stop even if some people won´t agree and find it laughable.
