Why do the items we buy in the guild store have to come via mail?
This wouldn't be such an issue if the mailing system would actually work, but most of the time you have to wait up to 10 minutes or have to relog to get your mail.
Can't they just place the items in our inventory? It makes no sense at all, that the vendor i just bought the item from, sends it via mail even though i'm standing right in front of him.
Question: Do you want the items to go directly to your inventory?

✭Yes, please place them directly in my inventoryPeople have been complaining about since the guild stores started. I suspect it has something to do with the ad-hoc way they seem to develop much of this game. For some technical reason, it was probably hard to interface the guild store interface directly with the merchant store interface (allowing you the recieve the item right away), so they did some sloppy jerry-rigging with the email system instead.0 -

If they get rid of the mailing, then I have to travel to a city, deposit it in the bank, log out, log in as the character I want, travell to bank, and pick it up.

diabeticDemon18✭✭✭Yes, please place them directly in my inventoryI think that it should be put in a temporary slot in your bank, such as a new tab in the bank that's for bought guild items, hireling deliveries, and other things that are normally mailed to you. You may not put anything IN this slot of the bank, but it provides a place to store the items until you retrieve them, without using the mail system and worrying about if a player has a full inventory or not0 -

If I am at some crafting station and I'm crafting something for a lower level character to which I don't keep tons of items and would like to buy myself something I can log in on an alt, buy it, and accept mail on my character.
This is just an example of a great way it can be useful. Leave it alone, just fix the delay in the mailing system!1 -

And yes, the mail system needs to be improved but for me these are 2 separate things. You have the crappy mail system and you have the vendors that use the crappy mail system to give you your bought items.0 -

I'd rather have the item appear in a place that can easily be acquired by all of my characters equally, so I appreciate the mailing of the item. Seeing something another character could use and having to either :
1.) log out, log in, run to town, re-find the item, go back to where I was
or 2.) Buy the item, put it in my bank, log out, log in, run back to town, find it in my bank, go back to where I was
Is much more tedious than:
Buy it, log out, log in, open mail wherever I'm at.
It's because of that I'm hoping the mailing delay gets addressed at done point since that is the only aggravating part of the current flow.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭No, please keep sending them via mailMailing the items works. I never have to wait more than a minute or two for an item to show up. Only once did something come after a zone change, but that was when I bought some things, walked right over to the wayshrine and traveled somewhere I needed to be. It was not because I was waiting for it.
Here are the advantages to Mail:
1. Don't have to worry if my inventory is full
2. I can buy for an alt and not have to go to the bank to transfer something
3. I don't have to transfer money to an alt (negating yet another bank trip or two)
4. I can shop when I want to, not when I am logged onto a character that needs something so I am not spamming my friends with Log In and Log Out messages jut to buy something.
5. I don't have to go somewhere to pick something up, it is just the ' key away from whoever I am logged into.
Any other system would just over complicate this or introduce other potential problems for no foreseeable benefit.

There are only two things I buy from vendors: empty soul gems (occasionally) and the ingredients needed for VR5 food, so this is not a problem for me.
