Lisa Ann does play ESO.

While its nice to look at a pair of huge jugs, bouncing brazenly in the wind, its not very good at protecting the heart and lungs underneath said jugs. From a realism standpoint, these kinds of armor sets always make me cringe.

Then again many styles make me cringe from a logical standpoint. While Daedric weapons are pretty cool to look at, they really are horrible combat design more often than not. The cutting edge often has a lot of hooks, which seemingly might be damaging, but really it just slows the blow down, and ruins your ability to make deadly cuts. I suppose its not so bad on a bludgeoning weapon.

Overall, Elder Scrolls tries to give a more realistic feel to their game (barring the obvious amazing magical elements, which at least have rules to them), so I'm not knocking the series on this point. What I am saying is that I'd rather such styles be deemed light or medium armor at best (not that anyone likes to wear heavy hardly).

Most other games have it worse. SWTOR gives the player armors with all kinds of hooks and bits that you're just as likely to hurt yourself with as anyone else. The Dual Bladed saber from a combat standpoint is ridiculous, and really more dangerous to yourself than it needs to be. They would have been better off creating something more like a polearm lighsaber/spear/naginata or a greatsword style weapon. The geometry is just terrible, and while I really enjoyed watching Darth Maul do jumps and kung fu, the Dual Saber is probably one of the worst weapons I've ever seen: Two swords would have given far better range of motion, without the chance of hacking off bits of yourself by accident. WOW and Everquest armors are even more ridiculous, and I couldn't even play those games in large part because of that.

I think my point is simple: I'd like them to limit the ridiculousness of our gear some, in favor of realism. I'm willing to suspend some disbelief, but the problem becomes rather blatant when everyone is running around naked, and doing just fine. Its an immersion killer, and I don't like it.

I tend to give Jedi a pass on a lot of things. In this case, I think you can cross off the "chance of hacking off bits of yourself by accident" part.

Being able to use the force would definitely inform their fighting styles and weapon choices, and I think we need to just accept that, in the Star Wars universe, it is an accepted fighting style.

Skimpy plate armor is definitely annoying, though. Especially in this case where the armor looks fine on male characters but dumb on female characters.

Stygian Set/ Ancient Nord/ Nedic/ Drauger could use a motif. Also a texture/model improvement to match the quality of the newer stuff.

As much as i see OP point of view in all honest if we should see much that armor you want to be carfable one how much do thing that armor would protect in all honest???

If we look at armor history wise full plate armor did make the person wear it more or less unhurt but he lost most of his movement why a half plate armor did gave the wear better movement but it cost there wear some protect.

The point i try make is that even if armor may look good and sexy it don't fit in to ESO art style on craft armor i like how craft armor look more realistic beside take WoW run around in so call "plate bikini" just look stupid and each time i see someone have a "plate bikini" i was think to myself that is teenage boy that don't have gf or that is fate old man in late 50 sit in dark room somewhere have sexy fantasy about his pixel female char and i can't take those people serious my point view.

So i think that armor should be a custom not craft armor.

PS. sorry if i hurt anyone feeling but i just tell what i think about gear that is clear only use is to make male player drool over pixel

What's the point on wearing revealing armour? It's like wearing a big target on your chest.
