(PVE) Access to all alliances? - A buzz to be noticed or just hot air ?

Hi there,
I really do not know who said it anymore and i will not search through ALL posts humming and buzzing about update 5 to find out either - really taking into account that I will most probably have to look at non-eso-related websites, that might just take ages (btw: This is the reason i prefer a well moderated NEWS-section... ).

Anyways, I do recall something about beeing able to travel to all alliance territories (PVE obviously) as one of the things to look forward to in update 5 (Something about getting away with the cadwells quests and do something else - something which was never really specified).

Does anyone KNOW whether this was just something a player suggested/brought up/wished for ... or whether it was intended/is intended/was thought of but then droped by zeni to be implemented in the near future?

Thanks and enjoy your day!

It hasn't happened yet. They're thinking about it as part of the Champion system, but there's no specific time frame. From the Guild Summit:

With this paradigm shift to a more horizontal based progression system, what are the implications for Cadwell’s gold/silver as well as the vertical progression structure which currently exists in veteran dungeons and trials?
We (ZOS) are leaning heavily towards getting rid of the barrier between gold/silver content and giving the player the choice at 50 to tackle that content in any order they choose. As for veteran dungeons, these will be able to be scaled to your party’s desired level. In terms of trails, we’ll be sticking with a vertical progression model in terms of trial difficulty and itemization, but trying to keep an easier on-ramp for players wanting to get started.
