Game-breaking issue!!!

I have had the game since release, and there has always been something about it that just isn't right. I could never decide what it is, but I have finally come to the conclusion that it is us. The community of ESO is the problem. A game like this hasn't been created yet, and we are all coming into it with ideas in our head of what we like and want to see in the game. But that still is not what is wrong. There is nothing wrong with wanting new concepts in the game. The problem is how we handle it. Instead of making posts on the forums about what we want with good evidence and support to back it up we come to complain to the Zeni. It gets tiring to never see logical posts on the forums anymore, and even when there is it almost always followed up by a post saying "Its Zeni, what to you expect" or something like that. The launch received a lot of grief because the game was a little rushed and Ill admit that it was not as good as it could have been. But Zeni has done so much since then to improve their game. From where it was to where it is now is incredible. Zeni deserves so much appreciation. Do you really think it helps any for the devs to see so many hate posts on something they have and continue to put so much work in to? The game is great! So much has been added and fixed, and we are only 6 months in. I am so excited to see this game at the year mark. Zeni has done so much for the game, and plans to do so much more. They do not deserve the hate.

My point is, as a community we need to come together to support this. If you hate the game so much then by all means stop playing it. The community does not need you. Play the game for what it is, and in the long run it will be so worth it. And if you're going to complain on the threads at least be logical about. Give helpful criticism instead of hate posts.

Zeni is doing their job, and it is time we do ours.

End Rant

The in-game community is (for the most part) great. Most people are having fun and enjoying the game.

The forums, on the other hand...

Let's just say that I spent a fair amount of time on the WoW forums, and the poor excuse for a forum community we have here make those guys look like MacArthur Fellows.

Problem is not all things in the game works or is balanced so if noone rage on the Forums bit just quit instead you would be pretty lonely ingame after a while..

Believe it or not, there are plenty of constructive ways to communicate your feedback to the development team. "Raging" is not one of them.

I couldn't be bothered reading your wall of text to work out whether I agree or not.

I noticed some words like "constructive" in there so I'll give you some constructive criticism. Use paragraphs. And lube.

Lack of common courtesy and mutual respect due to the Call of Duty and the WoWchildren bringing their "assumed anonymity because internet" shenanigans and asshattery with them.

Actually, you started the finger pointing... making you a part of the problem, meaning you proved your point with your original post.

I agree that there's a lot of unnecessary hate on the part of the community, but that goes with the territory where games with a significant PvP content are concerned, people will object but it just is. However, neither the community nor the issues raised are remotely game-breaking.

Agreed, constructive criticism works better, it's not enough to gripe about things, you need to Dispassionately point out the problems, and offer suggestions to improve it.

    Raging just makes things worse.

We've got it good over here in ESO. Spend 10 minutes on ArchAge's forums, or IG and see what a real bad community looks like lol.

The forum is sadly very toxic and bitter, compared to the in-game community. I really wouldn't want anyone to think that the forum is representative of the actual player community.

I've seen a fair number of posts in these forums where the OP has attempted to being good discussion on a topic/idea they would like to see introduced, or has come across something that they feel should be changed and would like to see what others think.

Unfortunately, most of those threads quickly decline into hate threads and all attempts at an actual intelligent discussion is lost.

Additionally, as someone whom has worked in Customer Service for over a decade; You will ALWAYS hear more complaints from people who are not happy with something than you ever will from people who are satisfied. It's just the nature of the beast.
Far too many characters to list any more.

I gotta say, with the last patch I actually don't have time to get everything done.
no more standing around :/ unless ofcourse you need a pledge group...

lol sorry that was meant to be an example of a positive response.
