Reapers March Story Mission is bugged? Can't progress.

Hey all, today I reached Reapers March on my third Alt, I reached Fort Grimwatch and that was bugged, which I think has halted me from completing other Towns such as Rhawl'Kha and Moonmont and a few others as I am sure you need to complete Grimwatch to have the Quest chain you through the next Town. This is frustrating as it stops me from completing the area and being able to get to Cold Harbour properly. Am hoping something will be done about this as not being able to complete the story in a Zone is quite an obstacle.

No, it's not bugged, the quest progression is just really weird. You get the first quest for Malabal Tor in Greenshade, and have to do that before you get the quests going. You get that quest by talking to the Green Lady or the Queen, I forget which after the Wedding.

And, once you do that quest, you have to follow the quests/towns in order to do the rest of them. Even though you can pretty much go to the towns and hang out before the quests are given. Basically, you don't get the quests for the town you are in from the town, but another one somewhere else on the map. This is different than all the other zones.

I have taken 2 characters through this and it all works if you get the first quest, and finish each quest and follow your journal. If you meta game it, it will backfire on you.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

No, the quest is actually bugged. If you go to the thread I linked, you'll see that the devs are in fact aware of the bug and it will be fixed... eventually.

I thought they have gotten beyond that part...

Yes, Fort Grimwatch has some issues similar to this to. If the quest is not starting it is because you were not sent there from someplace else. However if it is started, then it's the quest markers that lead you astray.

I had issues with this quest and the ones in Reapers March going smoothly. And, they may have screwed up the quest progression trying to streamline the quests for grouping. But it was working prior to those changes. I took my two crafters through these one after the other a couple of months ago. Fort Grimwatch has a couple of different instances depending on where you are in the quest, and that does not help things.

However my advice for Reapers March still stands, follow the quest progression in your journal and talk to NPCs after you finish quests so you get the next one you need.

Quest is bugged , developers know this already since April but are not capable enough to fix the problem they created themselves .....
