Wanted to find a guild for undaunted pledges - that's what I got from one:
"In the case of your application, our main concern really was the lack of detail around your personality. We really needed to know more about your character and actual personality so we can be sure if you will fit in and get on well with the rest of our members, and share our values"
Didn't happen in EVE online. Hell, I never failed actual job interview. I'm going to lay down on the floor and cry a river now.

✭Do you really need a guild for pledges though? It's easy to find a group for them. If anything, I can invite you to my small DC guild

I don't quite understand this selection process, though. What can you really tell about a person from a written application? Most people write what they think the reader wants to see. If they want to get to know you, it'd be better if they invited you to run a dungeon with them so they can see how you work together. Maybe it isn't feasible if they have lots of applicants... But come on, it's ESO, no guild had crowds of people banging at their doors.2 -

I was once rejected after being asked to join a certain guild because of filling out an application incorrectly. i was even told im clearly not a good fit for the guild!! Clearly it was just the guild roster they were referring to because im with half the guild all day long in pvp havin a great time lol. So dont sweat it.. move on, have fun and most importantly... remember it

I'm EP, but thanks Pledges are tough - in a pug when tank ragequits after 5th wipe I get offended as a heal.Most people write what they think the reader wants to see. wafcatb14_ESO✭✭✭There are lots of good guilds out there , My guild does not recurit openly , we normally let potential members find us on their own , through attending one of our open server events we have weekly as all our events are posted and open to everyone on the server .

How would I describe my personality? Hmm...My court appointed Psychiatrist says that I have an extremely vindictive personality along with some paranoia, kleptomaina and mild dementia. But in reality I am just a really friendly and helpful person. I think my Psychiatrist spreads those lies because he is working with the Government.
I don't take rejection very well so I really hope that you accept me as a person in your guild. I am really excited about joining your guild and becoming friends with you guys. "voice comms" is probably the real reason I don't feel like guilding or grouping up. I've never liked using voip systems, as they never seem to work consistently. I know that makes me a bad prospect for a Guild in the first place because a Guild should revolve around comms if it wants to be successful.Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? That response from their guild was a bit lame. I'd just move on to the hundreds of other guilds screaming for members. I'm constantly seeing guilds advertising in chat, especially in the starter zones. In any case good luck. 0 -
