I think dungeon scaling made it harder to find players to group with during level up

The new dungeon scaling seems like a real benefit to people who are in veteran levels however, I think it made it actually harder to hit a dungeon while leveling up.

It used to be you could find someone outside the level range who wanted to come back and do the dungeon, but now that is all kinds of problematic (if they're too high nobody might get xp or the dungeon is too hard for the rest) so you have to group with people in your level range. I spent an hour last night in the queue and using /zone to find an Arx group for my 28 tank/dps character and there were no bites.

You are correct. However forced scaling really gives the shaft to the everyone. They need to make it a sliding scale that the players can control themselves like in D3.

That way the players looking for the challenge with the proportionate better reward can do that and the players looking to skate through can do that as well but with lower xp and rewards obv.

Good luck finding a group tho. Seems like having a good dungeons guild will be the new crutch.

Bummer because I still need to do the leveling instance of that dungeon. I don't care about the experience, just the achievements for killing bosses and the skill point.

So, if you want a VR4 to help you reach out to me tonight. I forget if Arx is DC or AD. If it's EP, then I only have VR Instances for that. You can have all the exp and loot.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

while that would help with completing the dungeon neither of us would get either loot or XP. Sure, we'll get the rewards for finishing the dungeon, which is nice and all....It just seems like there has to be a better way.

Are you sure? It stands to reason that I would be the one that would give up the exp and loot as expected. If I am not the leader. If I was the leader, then it would make sense that you would have to contribute significant damage to get anything.

Otherwise this is a system that someone did not think through. Encouraging socializing and interacting should not be limited by levels.
