Can i just delete vo_de

I could not log in due to the char stuck on loadingscreen guildbug so I switched to german language and got in and yada yada..

Now the game is like 46 gig and im running out of space on my hdd so I noticed the 2 maps
vo_en and vo_de and i guess its the voiceover in english and deutch. so the _de one is 6 gigs.. can i just delete it or do i need to change some settings before?

Nm i guess i can start with renaming it and see if it break something..

I would recommend a clean install. I would also recommend reaching out to ZoS support and requesting some time credited to your account due to loss of game time from game related issues.

Are you signed up for the PTS? That is a mirror of the game and uninstalling that will free up an equal amount of HDD space.

There are also some things you can do to free up your HDD space. Moving My Documents, Temp Files, Temp Internet Files, Mozilla Profiles and the like to another drive to another drive. Obviously you could uninstall some other things your not using. If your using an SSD, you want to do this anyway. It will make the drive last longer.

Also, if your using Steam, it is real easy to move that to another drive, so you could buy a new drive install that, and then move Steam. On my rig, that would be 100's of GB of space.

Changing the language can also double your file size, someone else was reporting this a few days ago. It appears it downloads a copy of all the language files, both written and spoken, which it turns out is a large portion of the game.
