PVP Was better and more balanced last night - fact

End of - This is the single worst patch i've ever seen on any game bar none.

Yesterday ESO best game ive ever played
Today - it is pathetic and I have no faith in your development team to move it in the right direction.

    what?!...
    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    Their achievement - Improve it

    Can't swap weapons without popping out of cloak. Massively clunky.

    Added extra attribute points giving more stamina or magika potentials effectively buffing the already stronger races

    Reducnig sneak damage. Hitting the racials of 2 of the weaker races whilst buffing others. No scaling on any racials even though %^ based ones have received a direct buff

    The skill ambush has had its stealth damage reduced by 35% accordnig to my calculations. However snipe has been reduced by 15 and cast time reduced.

    Ambush was not a target of this adjustment. However zenimaxs' incompetence has made it one. So now melee gank damage is significantly less than ranged. good 1 zeni.

    Things that needed fixing.

    Invisible negated - Not fixed
    Impenetrable - Not fixed, however they did adjust spell pen so now inpen is even more ridiculous
    Shadow cloak - Not fixed/worse
    Sneak - Pretty odd atm have a feeling we will hear more about the mechanic having changed and become very clunky
    Camps - Removed trust me this will increase the effectiveness of trains and impulse spam play
    Bats - lol if you think the change has made any difference you are a mistaken.

    Bugs are frustrating -fact.

    They made a lot of changes in this patch, but certain bugs make it unplayable for me. The momentum bug especially kills it. I can't log into this until they fix it. 1.5 gave me a wet dream with all their listed changes but the application of those changes shot that dream dead.

    for stating your opinions as "fact" you are bringing surprisingly little to back it up.

    - Your whining about the "snipe buff" does speak of either very little experience or a lack of understanding on your part. The aim of these changes was to reduce alpha strike damage as whole. For that, the cast time of snipe, since it was generally used from stealth anyway was a nonfactor; it could as well have been 5s and nobody would have cared. The big strength of snipe was that you could snipe -> charged heavy attack -> venom arrow and all would hit nearly at the same time.In 1.5, alpha strike damage has gone down due to changes in the animation timing, and further due to the reduced sneak damage.

    - your comment about stats being changed is lacking any actual numbers to back your claim. Base stats have changed very slightly, perhaps a ~1% in stats total. It also didn't change the relative amount of stat points races get. Races with stat boni do get slightly more out of them, but the overall difference is practically neglectable since much of the overall stats came from equipment and other boni anyway. From napkin math I'd assume are maybe looking at somethingin the ballpark of ~10-20 points in health advantage that the good races got out of the changes.

    - Impenetrable is in no way related to spell penetration, at this point I have to assume you are just making things up for the sake of whining about something.

    You're basically just talking rubbish, melee Ambush builds have been buffed if built correctly.

    -Extra actribute points are not so relevant in term of advantage.

    -sneak damage has been reduced for all. I agree that nb feels it more.

    -Not only ambush but all skills that you could use stealthed like dks whip or 2h line skills or snipe or others skills.

    -Camps are not removed, are limited for occasionals pvp players because you need to reach rank 6 in AvA line.

    -Bats dmg is not nerfed so it is still good, devouring swarm is nerfed cause the heal back is less , and so it's easy to be killed. They have to proceed graduate, to not break the vamp line and make it totally useless. Don't forget that now vamps can be spotlighted.

    You try - but your response miss's the point.

    I am am not whining for one. I am stated that it is now easier to be ganked from stealth by an archer. That was clearly not the outcome of the patch.

    I am stating that ambush stealth damage has been nerfed more than snipe according to my calculations. This for no reason as far as I can see.

    I am stating that because of this ganking is more effective from range than it is point blank, this is a ridiculous logic.

    I am highlighting that because of the nerf to armour & spell penetration trait yet impenetrable remaining so strong, plus the nerf to sneak damage it is even more common to see a dk standing in a group of 20 people holding block spamming GDB.

    I think you are just responding for the sake of disagreeing and have played very little pvp

    Look, I'm going to be blunt with you but the simple fact is that simply picking "Ambush got nerfed" without looking at the bigger picture just shows up your ability to adjust to an MMO changing.

    We all had issues with the stealth changes and we all raised issues with that but simply put, Ambush (which I'm still hitting in the 1k mark anyway) builds got a huge buff thanks to the change to Soul Harvest. I can see you don't get that because you have blinkers on so I'll spell it out.

    This is my combo when I'm grouped and attacking a heavy defense target -

    Ambush +30% damage (attack from rear not from the front so they are stunned), Soul Harvest (now hits as hard at 50 ultimate as it did at 200 ultimate) 6 seconds of +20% damage, Ambush again +30% damage stacking, Concealed Weapon = more damage than you could have ever done before.

    My combo when I'm running solo -

    Ambush +30% damage, Soul Harvest 6 seconds of +20% damage, Ambush again and Swallow Soul which should net you a HOT of around 200-300 a tick thanks to the damage buffs. If I've pre buffed myself with Rapid Regeneration then I'm basically healing for around 500 a tick.

    You're a basically cherry picking data to make your whine point valid, frankly.

    You can't just say "OMG Ambush got a nerf" and leave it at that, Ambush builds have been given a buff. Adapt and get over it.

    It isnt a buff to ambush builds - You are assuming that we will all use soul harvest and waste our second bar ultimate on every person we fight!

    The nerf of stealth wasn't just about snipe. I hit someone for over 2200 with a stealthed 2 handed sword heavy attack. Their intention was nerf the initial damage from all stealth attacks, and prevent the weaving of snipe, heavy attack, and venom arrow. Both of which were accomplished.

    From what I understand they wanted to buff stamina builds across the board, which explains the increased damage for those skills. This was done to help balance stamina and magicka users.

    I do agree that the weapon swapping bug is infuriating. It's absolutely ridiculous that they broke stealth AGAIN, but to push an update with this massive, glaring mistake shows that they did NOT test it. It's disheartening to consider how they could possibly have missed this fundamental failure which affects every class in PvE and PvP.

    It was still Laggy, and now it's a horse riding simulator! bravo!
    I didn't get any crashes though, but saying that the server was not full either!

    So if your wish was for less people playing, more ranged ganking, and impulse trains, while not addressing the Lag, then yes great work has been done!

    Because that's what burst stealth builds are meant to be about, fast expenditure, if you want to save your ultimate then you need to change your build for more raw consistent damage.

    This is an MMO if you're unable or willing to change with the tide then YOU are at fault, this isn't the first change that's going to alter my build it's not going to be the last, the fact is that dropping Soul Tether and using the new buffed Soul Harvest has upped my stealth damage.

    6 months from now I might be using Soul Tether again. Who knows.

    No, they were removed. You can still place camps you had before the patch, but cannot purchase new ones. ZOS stated "Forward Camps will no longer be sold by Merchants in Cyrodiil."

    I think weapon swap should break stealth for the short time it does. Makes sense to me. If pulling a paper map out to look at it does, how would sheathing a sword and pulling a bow off my back not.
