The remaining camps?

You removed camps, awesome. But there are players (and i would bet even guilds with full banks) who stocked up on camps. Isnt there a way to remove these remaining camps or change them to provide 1 respawn or something? Its heavily unfair to any faction if you are trying so hard to defend and you get close to wiping them and then a huge amount just spawn outside and rush in again and wipe you all.

Funny you mention this, since it was blatantly obvious tonight that blues are chugging out camps like candy.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

They don't stack so you won't have hundreds.

They're impossible to get anywhere else so there's a finite amount.

Like mages, they'll gradually peter out over the next 2-3 weeks until everyone's on a level field again.

It does provide me a bit of amusement to see people blowing camps and still dying in moments though.

Wasted resource, and an endangered one at that.

Camps will run out, all factions will be in the same boat soon enough.

On the plus side with camps, it just makes it that much sweeter when you burn one to the ground now.

All 3 factions have them on EU Thornblade, and i am fine with that. As mentioned above camps do not stack and will run out before you know it now that supplies cannot be restocked.

Also quite amusing to see camps actually guarded by 5-10 players now as well rather than seeing them left alone.

I tried to destroy an AD camp at Arrius Lumber while they were sieging it, i literally got 2 shots off before 7-10ish AD came out from stealth and killed me.

I personally have 45 left of my own supply and will use all of these up with in the week, as will many other players who have camps left over. After that, well i guess it's time to dust off the old horsie.

Save 1 and use it a couple months from now lol ppl will be like "wtf a camp" and gg whatever they were fighting. People will become so much better at pvp now that they're forced to fight to get from point a to point b. That camp a couple months from now will make a much larger impact than it will a couple weeks from now.

As seen above one player has 45 of them. Now imagine every player of a guild having about 10 or 20 and then having a guild bank full of them. That's alot of camps and if the other faction has none then it's a massive disadvantage

It's not uncommon for guilds to have over a thousands camps stockpiled. Just like with the removal of the siege NPCs, ZOS has done half their job.

Forward camps were spammed for months as though there would be no tomorrow, players got used to it and won't change their habits overnight, they will continue dying stupidly and consuming stockpiles at rapid rate.

Its not that Big an issue, as said, it actually makes destroying them feel so much more worthwhile and I think you overestimate how long peoples stockpiles will last. I personally am taking a page from the comment above and will keep the few I have until next campaign just for lols.

Are they not coming back after some alteration anyway? or totally gone forever? I wouldn't mind either way. playing without them being used so heavily has already made fights so much more enjoyable, winning or losing, it feel 10x more dire either way and makes getting a player down feel like it matters rather than h'he'll be back in 10 seconds anyway for round 2,3,4,5, ect

Personally , I would like to see a patch on Tuesday (EU) to remove all FCs its quite obvious that with the farcical heads up for the EU patch notes that certain guilds have bought thousands. We have even heard one guild say they have 3k+ in stock .
This will be an unfair advantage to guilds or factions and its your fault again ZoS so please sort it out I will accept my losses to the camps I have and im sure others will apart from the smartasses who think they can pull a fast one.
If you truly are ending FC then Delete them from the game next maintenance.

Make them degrade over 3 days unless repaired.
That should cost a wee fortune in maintenance.

This would be the best course of action, but there's something not 'right' about ZOS deleting legally obtained items from people's inventories. It's a tough subject.

disable all camps. Make them sellable for 7200 AP. Done.
