In the wake of the uproar about Forward Camps, I would like to offer a different perspective. Last night there were some extremely fun fights on the Alessia Bridge. Fighting on the bridge may extremely inefficient way to make AP but it was a welcomed change to the unfulfilling meta that PvP had devolved into.
There were many open field fights too which are much more fun than punching holes through a keeps and lag-zerging the keep into submission with an unlimited supply of zerglings.

Yup. Was great last night. Sure there's a bit of horsing around, but the back and forth push was nice.
Interesting to see all the DC heavy-hitters too.... Hova was there (and no impulse in sight!!!) and there's this german-sound-name guy from AD who's a tough nail to kill... and how people still put oils on the ground lol...

You know things are bad when you consider going back to play PvE...

Hahaha I couldnt stop laughing was just trying to leap from person to person dressed as a peasant turning into a wolf. I only died 15 times last night but it seemed like a million. Half the fun was running around like a chicken with my head cut off and accidentally spam fearing no one as a wolf, or stopping in the middle of a zerg to try and feast on a player whose name I recognized. but ya good fun and fights out there! we are going to come back out now that we are going back to normal and look forward to seeing how this open ground pvp is going to work out. I already like a lot of parts about 1.5 and I think as people get over the fact that hey, you may have to ride a bit to a fight they will become more agressive again.
We had a blast but I think the next few weeks will be fun and challenging adapting new strats/builds for a lot of us.
Unstable wall for instance is something I love and have used for a while now for very specific applications but seeing it everywhere and used poorly so suddenly is meh0 -

The top of the bridge was just full of the sound of arrows being shot, and reflected back, fun times.Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...0 -
