Mos-De-Atmo✭✭✭I agree that the previous state of Forward Camps was a little strange. Previously the best way to transport oneself across the vastness of Cyrodiil was to kill oneself.
Perhaps in the future they will implement another kind of FC - perhaps following some of the several suggestions made here and elsewhere. For now I am looking forward to cutting off supply lines and attempting to scout opposing forces movements. I also hope that no FC may mean that reviving will become more common and even necessary to a successful battle. I like to play a healer / support role and revive people when I can so as to contribute in to the battle with methods other than direct damage.

✭Nothing will change about soul gems.. Those who currently care (which are few) and go to the trouble of buying and filling soul gems still will. Those who don't aren't going to magically change their behavior because they don't have FCs anymore.
I try to rezz everyone around me..and countless EP run over my corpse thinking someone else will do it...and I'm forced to rezz and ride. Now Rezz and ride = out of the game for 15+ minutes..nope..sorry..I'd rather surf google than ride a horse back to or sneak back to every siege only for it to be over by the time i got there. lol6 -
Mos-De-Atmo✭✭✭Perhaps people may stick around a little longer after death if the only alternative is a long ride back to the front. Dedicated groups are surely going to have to revive fallen allies to be successful? Then again those groups already did this to save the FC for emergencies...

I remember, oh, those good old days.
Suicide to fast travel afterwards was already in place and used, since the early, very early days of DaoC.
