Don't know about crafting locations, I don't know how Zenimax tags their containers but it seems likely that anything that looks dwemer (specifically the pots and urns) has a chance of dropping it.
I pulled a Staff chapter from Aldunz in Alik'r and that has the normal Delve symbol rather than the Dwemer symbol.

✭After I got my second Dwemer page all containers, no matter which Dwemer dungeon I went to, were empty. Even the Dwemer delves I hadn't been to yet. All empty. Yeah, I hope this is fixed soon. I just can't believe it bugged out the other member in my group who has yet to find one.0 -
It seems like there is an internal diminishing return going on. I haven't done any relog farming, but I was going back and forth between Yldzuun and Aldunz and I think it was my second time to Yldzuun and everything was perma-empty. Going out and coming back in, switching ruins, re-logging, all the same result. The heavy sacks and most mobs remain lootable and dropping scraps sometimes, but those containers just stay empty0 -

Thanks. Also to any AD players, since we don't have them in our zones, when you go to CH you will need to climb to the entrance on the hill to re-gain access to the Vile Lab, once you have beat it.
Or if you have created a new character, the fighter's guild story takes place inside a dwarven ruin. Ironically i started a new character aimed to be a 1H/2H tank/warrior, and i just completed Auridon yesterday and placed the guild on hold for this specific reason

Diminishing returns is what you get when you start looting til they become empty (so thats a pretty good way to describe it). Finding a purple page instantly empties all containers on next relog. I hope there is a quick fix soon though, hard to complete the set this way.Edited by Sneak_Thief on November 4, 2014 1:57PM1 -

✭It seems that, as soon as you get a motif page, all containers in all Dwemer ruins still go empty. Reymas✭✭✭✭Seems like an anti-farming mechanic to me.
FYI we combated this yesterday and my wife got all the pages. I ran her through Avanchanzel in the Rift on my VR14 and when she was done with a run she would switch to an alt, didn't matter the level, and we'd go again. By the time she was through all 8 characters, her main was off the cooldown (seems to last about an hour). Granted, the issue did not occur 100% of the time which may have impacted ZOS' ability to recreate and fix the problem. Nevertheless, this issue was reported during PTS testing.
Yeah I tested this in the PTS and knew about the issue, I figured it would have been addressed, since it was brought up. Thats why I made this thread here, after seeing these issues persisted in the live update.
They want us to play PTS but don't pay attention to the bugs people point out? lol Im not surprised at this but damn ZOS you need to get your crap together.1 -

Hate to disagree, but you need to check again. I was in Bthanual in Deshaan yesterday and today, and there are containers. Not as many as I would like, but they are there, at least 20-30. Most are in the form of pots, jugs, and jars. And the bug is there as well. First time through, more than half of the containers had items. After a relog, very few had anything. At the time I thought maybe ZOS was busting our chops, then I learned about the bug.You mean you've found containers at all? im not finding any of that, all the containers i see are completely empty "ALL" of them. and it's been this way for me in every single dwemer cave.

EDIT: After some testing it seems as long as you don't loot containers they reset. If you do fine a purple page, this bugs the containers and all will be empty, despite logging back in,ect. Me finding a page also bugged a group member who had yet to find anything.
This is not true. Checked alot of Dwemer dungeons and there was tons of boxes to loot.0 -

Don't know if the actual drop rate is as good as the others, nor can I confirm if the motif actually drops from here (some guy farming showed me one though).
