Weapon Swapping brings you out of stealth now. [Bug?]

Weapon swapping while in stealth will reveal you for about 2 seconds. This isn't in the patch notes, so I we can safely assume it's a bug.

I feel bad for anyone playing a stealth based class. Who knows when they will get this one fixed..

If this ever gets fixed, I would LOVE an explanation as to how this happened.

It would be nice if we all got some info on how they are breaking things.

If this is true I am really sad. My favorite and only stealth NB assassin build is getting destroyed on every corner. Sneak attack nerfs, night silence speed nerfs, buggy abilities, stamina imbalance. I just can't enjoy playing the Assassin type character that I did in Skyrim and previous TES games. Either this game needs another year or ZOS doesn't envision it a viable class

They just made it so that you can weapon swap while silenced. I wonder if the two are somehow related.

just don't swap weapons when stealthed. That's what our raid leader says to us all the time he says when he's looking for stealthers while stealthed he can hear them weapon swapping and he uses that as a cue.

I don't even know what to say. If ZOS would stop changing the release version without testing the changes, stuff like this wouldn't happen. This would have been caught within minutes on the PTS.

I wonder if the work they did to make it so the concealed weapon buff stays on when swapping weapons twice caused this. Unstealthing for a second and then restealthing always set the buff back to active.
Or maybe they did this on accident when working on stealth and saw it as also fixing the Concealed Weapon issue. " I dont know what we did but concealed weapon works now!"

Oh you mean like they fixed shadow cloak months ago? Or did you mean like they fixed stealth months ago? Yeah, I have every confidence this bug will be addressed EXACTLY like the others that have been plaguing NBs since the beginning, meaning they will continually tell us it's being worked on while offering very little in the way of results.

Yes, it is happening everywhere. Since the people who make the game supposedly actually play the game then it should have been noticed immediately. This was reported before the server shutdown after the patch went live.

yep, I weapon swap and it pops me from stealth for about 1.5 secs.

ALSO pops me out of Dark Cloak IMAGINE THAT another freakin' ability that removes my invisibility. ><

I can confirm this happened to me as well.

Another bug I've encountered is that opening my inventory while crouched will take me out of stealth. This started happening before the patch (noticed it about 2 weeks ago) and hoped that the patch would fix it.

And to also confirm, dark cloaking (out of stealth) and then weapon swapping, breaks the cloak.

Indeed I confirm that when I am sneaking and operate a weapon swap, it appearantly uncloaks my character. The eye opens up and closes back again. And it seems enemy players have spotted me that way.
This has happened on my two characters, in and out of Cyrodiil.
I also confirm this was happening to other players around me so it seems to be for everyone.
And it's been absolutely systematic, even after relog and even after alt+f4 or crashes.

While this is going off on a bit of a relevant tangent.........Dark Cloak continues to malfunction in relation to NPC guards. I can attack a guard and if I attempt to cloak, the guard's aggro does not pause, they will continue to move towards/attack me as if I had no cloaked at all. Really defeats the purpose of the ability if everything sees through one of my defining skills.
