The whole keep thing is a carrot to draw out situations for PvP. Forward camps intensify the PvP at any location sometimes drawing the fights out for hours. Without them PvP at any given keep will quickly deflate, time spent not pvping will increase due to all the travel time. Because a single death is so critical turtleing will be encouraged, and pew pew standoffs will be the fight of the day because it allows you to soul rez the dead.
None of that sounds good to me. It just means we will have to Pvdoor more to get any PvP. It's not about the keep it's about the fight at the keep.

Forward camps kept the action maximized as much as possible from both an offensive and defensive perspective. Battles are gong to be considerably shorter now given that people will not be able to return to battle easily. You can also say good-bye to those hefty offensive and defensive AP ticks with this change.
I hope all of you supply chain purists are ecstatic as this change is a horrible one for 90% of the players in the game.

Sadly if they are gone, and oil is nerfed to only work from above, it's going to be really really hard to defend vs. zergs. Probably should have saved this change for when AoE caps get removed tbh.

- Forward Camps will no longer be sold by Merchants in Cyrodiil.
- We heard your feedback about troll camps so we made one giant troll camp that will prevent all other troll camps from being placed in Cyrodiil.

The sharpened fix however is going to weaken an already weak mode of damage. Bow users just became far more powerful today.
