For me it's Velyn Harbor in Malabal Tor.
Even though I'm of the Daggerfall Covenant, I am a Bosmer and Malabal Tor is still my home. The lovely villlage by the sea has everything so close together it makes it so much easier to visit all the vendors and their crafting stations.

✭✭I'm kind of boring, I hang around the area I'm questing in, unless it's awkward for crafting and banking, in which case I'll go to the last place (other than Cold Harbour) it worked.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

✭✭✭✭I have a few spots, depending on my mood and the character I'm logged in with. Some examples: the northern coast of Rivenspire, southern Shadowfen (around Deep Graves), anywhere in Auridon, high up on the branches above Elden Hollow (I like to just sit there and watch people pass by). Recently I've been walking around Cyrodiil, there are so many beautiful places there. Or I just go fishing. It will take forever to get the achievements with all characters, so there'll always be something left to do.

It's interesting how each town is laid out differently with respect to how accessible things are. I really like that about the game. Like I said above, I gravitate toward Daggerfall for some reason, but the services there are a bit spread out. DC - Daggerfall, because I haven't found a city with a perfect layout yet to replace it.
EP - Mornhold, shops are in a ring around the wayshrine, crafting stations to the side, bank is a short jog away.
AD - Elden Root, just about the perfect even though the scale of the place means jogging from place to place may even be farther than they are in Daggerfall, everything looks deceptively close together, including two banks in the crafting ring.Main: Drio Azul ~ DC, Redguard, Healer/Magicka Templar ~ NA-PC

It's in the vicinity of a crafting station. I'm working on my researches, so I stop setting them up and repeat that once I log in again.0 -

Everything close together and it being the last zone in "Cadwell's Gold" for DC, it's fairly quiet
Then I run around the bank alts, in Vulken Guard, Davon's Watch & Daggerfall, who usually ride down to the stables and back to the bank.
