Was taking a few guildies on their alts through this, and during the final boss fight when the spider is supposed to break the web and youre all supposed to fall through the floor, she does not.
The spider becomes completely unresponsive, can be killed, but will no longer attack or move after 50% health.
Even if you kill the spider, the quest log does not update, as the fall through is obviously meant to happen and the real fight is below.

✭✭✭✭✭I've run into this bug 4 times in a row now on my daggerfall templar, still havent been able to actually complete selene's web on that character because of it. Resetting doesnt (always) work, and it seems this bug will occur due to a number of reasons:
-Wiping on the first attempt of the boss
-Dealing too much damage to the spider before the web breaks
-Players being out of range or immune to the stun when the spider goes to break the web
Scripted encounters are great, but please get the scripting working before putting them into a game.PS4 / NA

I remember that if someone stayed and the others relogged or went out of dungeon and then back in after you killed her,you could find the npc in entrance,talk to him and finish quest.0 -

Hey @Rylana took me 3 tries when I realized what I was doing. Since I was VR 12, we were burning the boss down so fast that it bugged out the webbreaking peice of the fight and couldnt continue. I stook back, auto attacked it while the rest of my team (level appropriate) chipped away, at around 60%, she does her thing and I just stopped attacking. This fixed it for me. Hope this helps.1 -

Tbh, I don't think they really care about fixing bugs, they just post them copy pasted answers and keep players hanging... Super_Sonico✭✭✭✭There is another fix I found back before 1.2. Don't know if it still works or not...
The main quest giver, at one point is interrogating a prisoner. When we got to the spider at the end, we were getting killed quite a lot, and the spider wasn't resetting. We finally had one instance where we managed to kill the spider but it never did it's jump and broke through the net. The quest giver did show up at the bottom, but there was no way for us to get down there to complete the quest. After a while a couple people just ported out. For some reason, me and one other decided to run backwards through the level.
When we got to the position where the quest giver was interrogating the prisoner, he was still there. He didn't have quest marker over his head, but for some reason I thought to talk to him. It pushed the end quest dialog through and completed the quest!
So If you don't break through and can kill the spider, try running back to that point and talking to the guy. See if you can finish it that way.0 -
Unbroken web happened to us also. Second time for me.
I saw that possible fix myself a couple weeks ago, re-running the trail from start and talking to NPCs. I tried it, last night, Aug, 11. Still broken. When I got back to nest there was NO spider. I may have been alone at that point in the dungeon. We also tried talking to NPC at the last resurrection point before the web before re-running trail from start.the_droog - NA - EP- DK
