I know your trying to be snide with that but if you look at what they have done and are doing they really have embraced feedback. Might not be an over night change but everything people complain about is getting changed.

Embraced still seems a strong word from a forum goers perspective. But yeah, can't say they didn't listen.
"You've probably figured that out by now. Let's hope so. Or we're in real trouble... and out come the intestines. And I skip rope with them!"

Considering the quality of most comments on these forums, we should be thankful that what ZO is doing doesn't count as "embracing".

@ers101284b14_ESO‌ , not as much as you would think. I've tried to be one of the games biggest defenders, but sometimes that's not an easy thing to do.

I realize there are massive politics and other factors involved in any decisions they make, and I am certainly not saying they have not corrected a lot of issues.

It's not as bad as many would have us believe. It's also not as good as it still has potential to be, and much of that is either due to, or could be remedied by better communication from ZoS and feedback both directions.

I can't, in good faith, take "everything people complain about...getting changed" as an automatic measure of success, either, though.

@nerevarine1138‌ , I agree. I'm glad they don't take every single thing to heart. I'd like to think most of us do not either.

We want ESO to succeed. It does feel, sometimes, that their priorities seem a little skewed in the wrong direction though.

Feedback works both ways. It's worth a tremendous amount when they step up and say "We know this is messed up, and we're working on it." This holds true so long as the statement is true.

They can't spend their entire time quelling the angry mobs, but sometimes a mere appearance of the King can be enough to avert a war.

Nothing rings louder than the sound of silence.

There's a lot of (or there was) embrace worthy material on this board, which got a pat on the back at best. That piece over at mmorpg is PR and so is it's wording. But that's nothing bad really, as we could need an influx of fresh blood and a good part of the game has greatly improved, indeed.

Perhaps, one shouldn't be looking too closely at PvP, stealthy NB nor EU server performance, but they'll surely solve those issues eventually and all in all the game is better than it was at launch. There's enough to do, but enough to enjoy as well.

You gotta admit, a honest and caring hug at the right time can do wonders. Free virtual hugs for everyone!

MMORPG.com is the very last place in the world you should go if you seek an honest opinion on anything. They are, quite frankly, a marketing rag; not a gamers site.

Their forums are ripe with shills... and, if you are critical in the forums of some game from which they are receiving significant advertising revenue, you will find yourself receiving bans left and right.

Christina Gonzalez has written more than one column actually BLAMING THE PLAYERS for the problems with ESO.

The site has no integrity whatsoever.

Since ZOS does not release any sales figures how does anyone know it needed to rebound ? on my side of things my friends that started the game are still here, my guild is still huge and has multiple chapters, I know some folks have had just the opposite.
The game is not perfect but no online game is, especially a game that is new and still in it's first year of growth.
I watch the twitch show, and read interviews about up coming features and I do not see a company struggling, they have a lot on their plate and in development.
But I guess time will tell, :)

As nifty as all those platitudes sound, here's a better one:

    Actions speak louder than words.

The ZO team has made it abundantly clear through their actions that they listen to the feedback they get from the community. Their job is not to feed players constant updates on their progress via the forums. Their job is not to pat players on the hand and say, "There, there, Uncle Zeni's going to take care of this for you." Their job is to continue improving and updating their game, and that's exactly what they've been doing.
