First let me say, that I'm no noob, but I am definitely a scrub. I don't play much, although I would play all the time. I have played many MMOs, but have never been hardcore. I have always felt stifled by class choice, but have also always been able to find a class that suited me well enough.

I have always wanted to play sneaky, but never had the skill. I have always liked the idea of leeching health off my opponents, but never really liked playing casters.

So I am really happy that I am able to play my dual dagger wielding sorcerer assassin in this MMO, because here it's my choice what my class is.
Basically, for me, the only class skill I use is Critical Surge.
Wearing nothing but leather I use Blood Craze, Whirling Blades, and Flying Blade from dual wield, and Immovable from heavy armor (although sometimes I use Boundless Storm because shiny) - my ultimate is Flawless Dawnbreaker from Fighters Guild.

I haven't been in Cyrodiil much (mostly because my puny macbook can't handle anything), but when I'm there I switch out Whirling Blades with Crystal Fragments for the knockdown. I still do nothing but die though :P

I play sneaky, and leechy, I can nuke 1v1 and outlast large groups (in PvE).

So I write mostly now to say that I am happy. Happy that I can finally design the class I didn't know I've always wanted.
I really enjoy playing my character.
But the skill that makes my dream character possible is Critical Surge. Without that there is no leech. There is no fun.

Now, I don't care about min/max (which should be obvious to anyone still reading my perfect little Barbie fantasy), and I don't care about OP or nerfs or magicka vs. stamina. I don't mind being gimped in PvP.
But I do care about my dream character. The sneaky leechy sorcerer assassin.
(She's really cool!).

This is why it vexes me more than a little that the whole basis for my build may very well be useless in PvP. I've been leveling (and loving it) on my work macbook air on lowest settings while saving up for a PC that can run ESO properly. I'm almost there (both leveling and money-wise), and now I find out (through the enlightened help of the fine folks of this forum) that Critical Surge is rendered more or less useless in PvP, because of the impenetrable trait.

Mind you, this is not a cry for nerfs, a threat to quit, nor anything like that. I will continue to play, because I love the game and I love my character, it's just me sharing my sadness for not being able to fulfill the dream of leveling my character, buying an awesome computer, and enjoying her in all her glory in some epic Cyrodiil battles. I was really looking forward to seeing her duel other players with more than 12 fps, on more than lowest settings, and in the dream build I designed (or at least stumbled upon by chance).

May she rest in peace, for a carebear she'll remain.
