Sorry to say I got bored around the 6 min mark. I was ready for a 2H stam dk wrecking people's face and all I got was whipping people to death and a couple arrows.
I'm not hating, your videos are awesome. I was just hoping for something different.

Two hander use is mostly in the later part of the video past the 14 minute mark.

First part of the video is actually fairly older video I wanted to use before deleting.

    Xsorus,

Question for you -- with 1.5 coming up, how viable do you think the changes to Reverse Slash and other parts of Two Handed make it to use as an AE damage bar while using 1H and Shield as single target and turtling?

Primarily building for stamina and perhaps even using heavy armor (or mix heavy/medium).

With 1.5, I'd suggest using Reverberating Slam. 40% healing received debuff.

Reverse Slash should be interesting once the patch comes out..right now i think it reads it does 20% of the damage done to 2 targets near the person you're executing..after the patch it'll do 40% to 6 targets..That's a fairly nasty AoE i think..Throw in Rally being fairly nice and I don't think two hander will be that bad.

I'm thinking after the patch my bars will probably be Brawler (Or Carve, haven't decided), Reverse Slash, Rally, GDB, Critical Rush

with Crippling Slash (think thats the morph i use, its the immobilize), Burning Embers (Mana dump), Reverberating Bash, GDB, and The Absorb Shield morph on charge (I'm running Invasion in this video cause I wanted to see if I liked it better, I think the absorb shield is nicer)

Also the thing i'm annoyed about with two hander most is the loss of Arcane Fighter which is incredibly good...I'll have 1 handed/shield for the heal debuff, but losing what was basically a great working passive for the new one that will be completely useless in PvP is annoying.

Power Slam isn't very good right now..after the patch you'll have a morph with a Heal Debuff which will be standard i think for most DK's.

Right now it does less damage then Invasion, and stuns for less.

That's very similar to what I was thinking.

    What ultis would you use?

And with Impen so prevalent, I was thinking a Weapon Damage build using heavy armor (5 HA/2 MA) over a 5 MA/2HA build. Though there's certainly an argument to be made for Twin Sisters.

I'm doing Werewolf on my 1 handed/shield bar (Crippling Slash now gives 5 more ultimate on use, and you get Werewolf passive damage ultimate)....plus twin sisters even nerfed from what it is right now will still do an unblockable bleed and generate ultimate which is nice..Throw in the fact that Werewolf will actually be a fairly nasty ultimate in terms of damage... and it should be interesting..My 2 hander line will have my Shifting Standard.

Sets i'm probably still doing Twin Sisters, and i'm going to see what Undaunted set drops from the dungeons now..They mentioned in the video that one will proc something based off Dots...and that's the one i'm most curious about.

If you're going to do a 5 heavy setup next patch, Go 5 Thunderous/5 Arena
5 Heavy/1 Light/1 Medium setup. Thunderous will be able to drop with Crit Resist making it esp nasty after the patch.

With 5 Arena you'll have and heavy armor passives Fear will be pretty much ignorable as well.

Well, I already wear a nice, epic Thunderous Pendant that's V14 thanks to a couple DSA runs I did.

Crafting 5 Arena puts me at a minimum 500 Impen once legendary.

No, just necklace, if doing stamina you can get shadow walker rings or hawk eye rings or magicka and get cyrodiil light rings

Very nice video. Thanks for sharing! Gave me a few new ideas to try out. Curious to know your thoughts on gearing. Twin sisters is of course excellent even after it gets nerfed. How do you manage resources? 5warlock? Arena is almost too good to pass up as well... But then, need a set with with weapon DMG to maximize your attacks. Dunno. Good food for thought at work tomorrow.

You ever mess around with Power Slam in a medium armor setup?

Power Slam isn't very good right now..after the patch you'll have a morph with a Heal Debuff which will be standard i think for most DK's.

Right now it does less damage then Invasion, and stuns for less.

I've been thinking about resurrecting the skill. I had lots of fun with it while leveling, but had trouble figuring out how to work it into PVP. But yeah, the Reverberating Bash morph will definitely be a nice debuff. I was kinda hoping the "increased" damage from Power Slam would be more viable for PVP. Oh well.

Over time the 40% reduced healing has greater effect, as it gives more value to each point of damage you deal, as it now is more difficult to remove it.

Good point. And, with 1.5 the debuff will apply even if the target is CC immune (btw, does that include blocking?).

So I watched the video again and I noticed that a lot of your crippling slash attacks did not root your opponent. Couldn't tell if it was because they were out of range or blocking, but it seems like the range on that ability is shorter than your other melee attacks.

That my friend, is because xsorus secretly loves bad morphs, very deeply. He's their champion, the one man who will take them, when no one else will. Like that guy who's talking to the most boring, unattractive girl at the party, taking one for the team while his mates will chat to her friends. Only xsorus is not doing it for the team, he's genuinely up for it.

    Some examples:
    a) Reflective Scales - One morph increases damage of projectiles by 33%, the other increases your spell res for 6" (rendered useless by all the sharpened trait weapons). Xsorus goes for the latter.

    b) Dragon Blood - One morph increases your stamina regen for 20" which allows you to block and stay alive longer. The other gives you more spell res for only 3" which again is useless for the reasons mentioned above. Xsorus goes for the latter.

    c) Dragon Standard - One morph reduces the damage you take by 20% and increases the damage you do by 20%. The other simply allows you to move it once and only provides the DoT tick and healing debuff. You know by now which xsorus has picked.

I could go on all day...

Meh, I tried it and couldn't personally find a use for it.

I don't throw standards in open fields anyway, most people just roll out of them. I use it primarily in choke-points (like breaches, oil-rooms, flags etc). You know, places that I intend to actually camp and tank.

In open field, I prefer Dragon Leap and if you're a vamp bats are better. They can't get Negated either.

That's my opinion and experience of it, some people might disagree ofc.

hehe I try out all sorts of morphs to see how they do in PvP....However I actually use the 33% damage increase on Reflective Scale, and Green Dragons Blood for the stamina increase

I prefer Shifting Standard though, being able to drop it on someone twice is incredibly useful.
