What motif do you speculate this is? My guess is this is what Ebony will look like.

That is the costume you get when you're emperor/empress. Also there is a unique set drop that is Ebony style; it's called the Ebon armory set and it looks nearly identical to the ebony armor from Skyrim.

You get to wear exactly same costume when you become emperor and during the final fight with Molag Bal. Emperors will get to keep the costume even after they are dethroned, but the costume will only be visible on active emperors and only in cyrodiil. Name of the costume is "Emperor's Regalia"

Well, at least they're not the first. The first 2E Emperor was also a Vampire, IIRC.

Well, at least they're not the first. The first 2E Emperor was also a Vampire, IIRC.

AFAIK there were no "legit" emperors in the 2E, the Akaviri called themselves Potentates.

Recently I fought him for the third time, then I checked out the armor my character was wearing (somehow I didn't notice before). I thought THIS I would love to craft myself! Unfortunately, I don't know either what style it is.

Edit: I read the other comments too late, sorry. Ok, I'll never become Emperor since I can't do PvP on 4 fps nor would something like that drop randomly on my end since I'm not a elite group player, just a single normal one. Nevermind then...
