if an of you recognize my name I have been an advocate of tweaking the dragonknight because of complaints about it.

I took my DK into cyrodil last night (its vet 14 and fully geared) to have some fun with its overpoweredness.

nope, not even a bit, I admit the players were all very good so the player skill seemed pretty even all around.

one nightblade made me so mad I almost deleted my own out of frustration with the class. bow build and fast sneak speed, just kited me around for a bit having fun. anytime he did pop up for a sec to shoot or taunt me he was always outside of gap closer range and would just re stealth and re position. I felt like such a moron trying to find him knowing he could see me just fine and was most likely snickering the whole time.

got 1v2'd by a fantastically played Templar, wish I could remember the name. props to that sir its always great to see Templars wrecking face despite popular opinion.

and sorcs. . .the one I was able to actually fight because he didn't bolt escape away (was trying to bolt back and forth through me) I did beat, so that was nice.

strange enough the only class I didn't really have trouble with were Dragonknights, because they could not run and hide and I think I know my mechanics better then most (im not great but im pretty good.)

so anyhoo, im done asking for DK balance, no more, the other classes seem just fine to me now.

Detection potions made with Alchemy allow a player to see both Sneaking and Invisible players.

funny enough I had all those potions on my NB as its my primary pvp character, suppose I should have transferred some of those over. though I tend to not like using them as it seems like a potion should not negate an entire feature of the game ya'know?

They don't negate it; they don't last long enough to.

They counter it strategically, in the same manner that what they counter needs to be used strategically as well.

Speaking as a v14 Nightblade that has used Cloak in every one of my builds since Beta, Detection potions are well balanced.

There have been a few times where I'm traveling and a DK jumps me, or we play at a fair advantage where we both see each other and engage at the same time (On my NB) and I kill them or they kill me.

I can safely say that you will always die at one point, and it can be from any class. People will build themselves around defeating one class, or one type of build (I know I sometimes do).

But what I'm trying to get at is, there is no perfect build, there will always be someone who will kill you no matter how good you are. You can't keep one build and think to win every fight with it, you always have to adjust and tweak it for certain situations.
