Requesting character load...for 4 days straight

I can't play anymore because it just sits on the loading screen that says requesting character load. I already posted about this and was told that I would be contacted by the support team which hasn't happened yet. Looking through the forum, it is not just me with this problem. I know ZOS is busy fixing a lot of things, but I would think some people not even being able to log in would take precedence over some bugs that can be worked around or balance issues that everyone has always dealt with anyways.

astro74✭✭✭In the launcher clock the cog and choose another language. When you get in quit the last guild you joined then quit and choose Your right language in launcher. Viola. now you can send me some gold2

Baconfat79✭✭✭✭Shut the game down completely. Go to "My Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/SavedVariables" and delete the file "ZO_Ingame.lua"
Open the game again, and it should load up just fine. I had the same issue, and this fixed it for me.

Switching to German did allow me to load in within seconds, but leaving a guild doesn't solve anything. I've been in 5 guilds since like June.0 -

Srugzal✭✭✭✭✭I find that this is what happens when I try to run the game with my VPN service on. I can run the launcher, launch the game, log in, and get to the character screen. As soon as I try to play a character, however, it gets stuck on the "requesting character load" popup.
When I shut the game down, then shut down the VPN service, I can run again with no problems.0 -

I guess I will just leave all of my guilds then. They are all mostly inactive anyways with only a few people who play in each.0
