Do you feel the extra melee attacks of a second shade aren't as useful as the teleport? My concern is wanting to drain stamina as quick as possible since everyone I run into blocks near 100% of the time.

Also, burning question that isn't exactly relevant to this thread, but do resto staff auto attacks drain stamina?

Resto light attacks drain stamina, heavy attacks ignore block and don't drain stamina.

I personally like the teleport shade better as a back up if shadowy disguise is acting up. It's also very useful to stay mobile.

Edit: Using Fear, the teleport shade, and animation cancelling with light attack + ability + bash, I can drain someones stamina really quickly. This video is a pretty good example. The guy had 3k+ Stamina and double the stamina regen as a DK holding up block, I still managed to drain him.

Hey hey, before you claim victory, disclaimer you chugged a tripot and started with ulti. I think the outcome would've been different if I could've used my dragonleap when you were low from my burst. I didn't know we were using tripots during a friendly duel or starting with ulti. I started with 0 ulti and didn't touch my stack of tripots. It was a good fight though.

I did use pots and my ultimate, but considering twin sisters procs 100% of the time on my surprise attack (we don't allow it in tournaments because of this bug), it was close to fair.

I'm looking forward to a rematch though.

Edit: also if you're going against a NB you have to assume we are using pots. We have a valuable passive that increases pot effectiveness. It's like if I said let's duel without using ultimates against a DK, they would lose out on their Battle Roar passive, which is crucial to be competitive at times as a DK, same applies to NB with pots.

I don't think its the set that's bugged, I think its the actual abilities. A lot of the same abilities that set off Twin Sisters in silly amounts do the same thing to Thunderous.

Being emperor magnifies your particular playstyle many fold. I've always said that you can watch any video and point to each mistake any player made that caused their death....that doesn't take away from the person making the video because he is the one who knew to exploit that vulnerability and that is where the true skill lies.

How does emperor work for a sorc that runs away? 5 more lightning balls?

I farm the flowers and craft them but I do buy the water. I can get a stack of water for 1k or under. Yeah If I had to buy all that I'd be broke.

The guy has stuck with the same build/play style since who knows when. As an emperor he could have easily grabbed any mediocre aoe/bat build and he would have done some serious damage like any other aoe based emperor.

Instead, he stuck with his roots and had fun his way while he was emperor. That takes something, a lot of respect to him for that.

Let everyone play as they please, no need to judge.

A lot of people use hirelings with full crafting and sell the mats.

I just farm a specific place myself.
