I know many have probably read about it or seen the video on it. This is just an update for those who havent. I am so excited for this!!

    I just want the convert magic to stamina spell. That's about it. Searching for the runes might be cool also, as long as it isn't a grind.

    How about making a Green Assassin's Blood, a Nightblade heal, that is exactly like a DK's Green Dragon Blood. That's one of the things I want..

    Very true. UNLESS they figure out that there should be an option (morph, extra spell tomb to find, whatever) to create stamina-based spells.

    stamina abilities are getting their own version (it sounds like) and since stamina based moves are mostly weapons (some spells too from fighters guild etc) it would be sweet to see weapon based tablets too. Training scrolls that the fighters guild heard about and you go copy.

    I wonder when we will learn about spellcrafting. Perhaps we will get lucky and it will be released with 1.6 or 1.7.

    How about making a Green Assassin's Blood, a Nightblade heal, that is exactly like a DK's Green Dragon Blood. That's one of the things I want..

    I would settle for a Shadow Blink. It's like BE only without damage and stun, just a fast stealthy effective escape. That is the only thing I ever wanted from cloak.NBs are technically able to do this move already also.

    I am a bit skeptical about Spellcrafting, I just don't think it can possibly be made as diverse as needed for it to be amazing. I expect something like 20 spells with small variations in power but not in utility.Of course it will be advertised as unlimited possibilities though.

    did you not see the alteration spell they showed off? Muffle? Almost eliminates the detection radius. I think it will be more diverse than what people want to believe. Granted they will do a lot of fine tuning for it :P because we as players will find ways to break it ^_~

    I cant wait to have a hotbar full of summons! I just hope they are strong enough to be competative.

    Can't wait to see what the next firebats combo will be. Maybe this time it will immobilize in addition to massive aoe damage

    I hate that there is so much amazing content already in the game an coming through future updates, while secondary parts such as inventory management or grouping are still extremely flawed.
    I'm really looking forward to spellcrafting, the champion system and justice system but I'd like to see some improvements on all the immersion-breaking issues.

    They would probably Nerf it though just like they are gonna do with Sneak Damage in PvP...

    They did say they will have a Magicka to Stamina conversion spell though..

    In Daggerfall and some other TES games, spellcrafting meant you could change the magnitude of the spell at extra magicka cost.
    E.G. range, damage, duration.. could all be changed at the tweak of a button.
    It was amazing.
    I hope spellcrafting is this amazing; and not just a preset of 50~ different spells.
    It'll still be awesome regardless; but I'm hoping it has depth.
    If your group is bigger than 6 members gain 75% damage reduction.

    Write this on the back of your box and see how many sales you get!

    You won't get any new PvP players until this archaic AoE crap is fixed.
    I for one won't resub until:
    1.) You fix lag.
    2.) You remove AOE caps we voted against.
    3.) 12 months have passed (this is how long we've waited for you to 'get with it')[/b]

    It actually is a preset of 50 different spells with some 6 customization options a way to alter cost/power slightly

    Wow, that's very underwhelming. You can't really use spell craft to "combine" spell effects like you could in actual TES games.

    i.e. make a spell that buffs crit, armor, and weapon damage. Or a spell that does Poison & Fire damage.

    Reads like a spell is limited to 1 effect & mods, as opposed to any number of effects, with each effect getting it's own mods.

    it sure sounds like they are doing a stamina version, and since majority of stamina abilities are weapon abilities, it appeared safe to assume. At 1:47:00 he gets asked a question
    And says you can make an ability which converts magicka to stamina. So I'm guessing it will be a nice glimpse into the future :) editing post above to reflect my assumption and pose an idea :)

    It looks like you can code any spell to be either have a reduced cost, be an AOE, an Ultimate, a toggle, or have a cast time, probably to boost it's power.

    For spell effects like fire, I'd be willing to bet that the toggle will work as weapon buff. For stuff like restoration, I suspect the toggle will just be an attribute buff while active, but... *shrugs*

    With Ultimates, I expect the spell is basically unrecognizable, like a firestorm or something.

    Now... it is possible we'd get to just keep adding crap together on those modifiers... eventually. But, it doesn't sound like that's an element in the base release. It's also possible that we'd get the ability to apply multiple modifiers to a spell via a perk in the spellcrafting tree, but I'm just guessing now.

    The material you make the tablet out of sounds like it'll be a standard White -> Green -> Blue -> Purple -> Gold system.

    With toggles, you'll kind of be able to combine spells. At least some of them.

    I'll admit, I am a little underwhelmed, I think I was hoping for something more like Magicka's structure, where you'd just pull various spell elements and slap them together to get a new determinant skill, but that wouldn't be very Elder Scrolls-esque.

    To be serious though I imagine the spellcraft abilities will be high magicka cost for less output (damage/healing/distance for teleport).
