I've heard that you earn AP by healing someone who gets a kill. Do you also earn AP for just healing a lot? If not, then it seems like the fastest way to earn AP would be to drop the widest, cheapest heal you have and then switch to AoE burst, since you're going to get more AP from killing than from keeping people alive.
What qualifies as a heal? Does it have to regenerate health? If not, then that means Steadfast Ward is bad for earning AP. But would that mean that Restoring Aura grants AP, since it does give regeneration but not raw HP? If the amount you heal for is irrelevant, and all that matters is that you simply heal someone who gets a kill, then Restoring Aura would be an AP farming skill, right?
If the amount you heal for matters just as much as healing someone who gets a kill, then what's to stop people from farming AP by meeting up with other alliances, agreeing not to kill each other, and just spam dots and heals for AP?
