Stealth Damage Reduction?

Good or bad? This only effects stamina builds (And melee magicka based skills such as ambush, concealed weapon, lava whip), but from my experience a glass cannon stamina build doesn't need stealth to drop a clothie in 2 seconds. But this does mean no more 1 hit snipes.

*If* this is the nerf we think it is, meaning 300 points of damage or more, and it goes live then I think this is a bad move.

In short I think that the gank with bow build was already very easy to counter. Just throw up block once lethal hits and you have enough time to heal/scales, and that's pretty much it.

If a player was getting one shot then they were not an appropriate level, were not geared competitively, or/and the ganker was lucky. By lucky I mean 1 in a million lucky. The highest crit from lethal I ever got was around 2100.

There was a damage bug months ago but I think it goes without saying that it shouldn't be considered as a reason for a nerf.

The statement that people were getting one shot by Lethal Arrow is as misleading as people saying Batswarm was hitting for 3.5k.

you cant be one shot with lethal arrow from full health.

iv been countered doing the snipe then jump combo MANY times, its not that hard to counter. heck iv countered it myself a few times.

no use complaining about it though, I doubt ZOS will decide to not do it

Also impacts Magicka build Nightblades, unless there was a post somewhere about this only impacting Stamina skills.
Ambush and Surprise Attack both receive Sneak Attack bonuses when properly executed; they are, presumably, why Nightblade receives a bonus to Spell Damage stat while Sneaking as a passive skill.

Not looking forward to nerfs on my primary openers on my Magicka build. Was not dealing damage in the range of Snipe to begin with.

Going to start running Radiant Magelight now that the issues with the skill appear to be pinned down. Stacking the 56% Sneak Attack damage reduction on top of the nerf will make the slightest concern about Sneak Attacks a thing of the past.

From my experience i agree with you, gank builds are super easy to counter (assuming im not going moch 10 on me horse). The only time I really dislike fighting gank builds is when im outnumbered.
