Good luck to provisioners in Justice system?

yeah it might be tough. But I'm sure things like grocer selling more items for cheaper prices will be altered...or maybe hirelings will deliver higher quantities of items, etc.

Don't assume this change will happen in a vacuum

They are going to change provision radically soon with much fever ingredients where they say that instead of looting towns you have to go out and get the materials in more "natural" spots.

As a new player, and one with major inventory issues ... I hope that they do not decrease the number of ingredients for crafting. I like that aspect of the game. Just need more inventory space.

This is one game where a house, a la Skyrim, makes a lot of sense.

They are working on overhauling provisioning decreasing abit the number of mats and separeted inventory slot for crafting materials

It's going to make the stupid motifs even more rare than they already are, as if 35-50k motifs weren't bad enough already on top of the set items that are going for 35-40k.

I hated the Justice system from the first time they announced it. It's some stupid implementation of PvP in PvE environments, and people will grief the crap out of others by killing merchants.

You can expect organized, most geared guilds to go on griefing sprees.

Merchants will likely be instanced to yourself so you cant be griefed

We want to not have players suffer from collateral damage while running around town and using abilities. You will be able to flag yourself as not participating in the system, and we’re thinking about other ways to make sure the user doesn’t accidentally pickpocket or steal.

Proof about flag yourself for Justice System.

Stealing will flag you for the Justice System, though. : P

Running around looking for motifs by robbing everyone in the city blind is an awful way to have a game though. I'd like motifs and recipes (and other things in the future) to drop when you read books in libraries. With no worries of legality, just borrow that book and copy it. Make me happy to see people running around reading. And all crafting materials to be widely available in the wild. If you still want to loot containers in town, they should be under the justice system. Your risk. That would make me happy.

I think it will be a little different: you can't stael if you don't flag yourself for Justice System (You will be able to flag yourself as not participating in the system).

Not sure how others are reading this, but what I'm thinking it means is:

Justice System Flag On => Stealing Possible => Get Mats from Barrels
Justice System Flag Off => No Stealing => Cannot Loot Barrels at all (in towns)

    Ok, how I see it:
Justice System Flag On => Stealing Possible => Get Mats from Barrels (to sell it with profit).
Justice System Flag Off => No Stealing =>Loot barrels as usual (in towns), as you do it now (no profit, only if you are a provisiner and farm mats).

AFAIK, you can flag yourself for JS. So, turn it off and loot all barrels, crates and etc. IMO the only difference will be if your JS flag is on and you steal it - you can sell it. And if JS flag is off, you can't sell it. IMO very simple solution.

My understanding is the Justice flag in settings is to only prevent accidental killing of NPC's. I doubt it's a "turn all container into free loot again" type of thing.
