Dungeon Blocking Achievement

I just got my third character to get the 1,000,000 points in Dungeon Damage achievement this morning. However like the other two characters that earned this the amount of damage blocked in a dungeon was about 10% or 15% of this value.

So, I have to ask, has anyone gotten the achievement for Blocking Damage in a Dungeon?

Or has gotten the Dungeon Healing one? But I can see how a dedicated Healer could reach that one in time.

Id its the 10 Points one yes , the 50 points one still 70% done

Tanks get them, though typically after the damage deling achievement. My baby DK tank got 1 mil block one even before reaching vet.

My main has healing and damage but only about 3 mil in blocking - and even that is motly because I tried tanking on her at some point. When I'm healing, I pretty much never block lol, just heal through things or roll out of them XD

Btw, healing achievement counts selfheals, so with lots and lots of self heals you'll probably get it eventually, even if you aren't the dedicated healer;)

If your boried, you can go into a low level dungeon, and take on a single mob, hold block (put a book on the space key after you have rebound the key to block) and then go out.

You will get this achievement that way.

Ahhhh, now i know what those guys were doing, I have actually seen a couple of people doing just that, wondered if they were off on a toilet break or something. Haha the things some people do.

I earned this achievment by doing dungeons. Not so hard for a tank.

Its better to do it in an instanced dungeon (so no one will see you or kill the mob your blocking) but it can be public ones too

But you can get it the normal way and fast by just item farming Vet Crypt of Hearts, all members do a lot of blocking on that last boss so the numbers go up fast.

So the leveling issue (being 5 over leveled on the mob) does not negate Block Damage tracking? Wonder if it also applies to the Damage Stat (not that getting to a 10,000,000 is going to be done by doing a L7 dungeon in my lifetime...)

Lol, I don't...I either dodge his skulls or get hit xD I still hardly ever block, gonna be a loooong while til my main gets this achievement.

But yeah, pretty sure it counts ALL dungeon, including like lvl 5 ones. Of course, it doesn't look much like an "achievement" to me if you just farm it there, but that's up to you.

The damage, healing and block achievement does not care about the level of the mob the damage is coming from.

Damage and Healing for 10,000,000 is easy to get but unless your a tank, the 10,000,000 block will take a while. But you can 'fake it' if you just want the colour from the achievement by doing what I posted earlier on.

There is one dungeon which spawns endless undead at the end ( Volenfell )
If you want to get the Damage and Healing for 10,000,000 really fast and a few other achievements (Dungeon Annihilator), just go there and spam AOE (and self heals)

As a sorc main, I knew I had to learn to tank if I want to get this achievement sooner. Which is what I did, and found tanking heaps of fun. Have completed dungeons (vet ones) as a tank (even last boss vet CoH - even if you don't need it) and helped me increase block points for that achievement. It made my char versatile too, which is a big plus.

The one thing that will take long is that trials dungeon blocker

Again if your bored, and got a few mates who also want to get this achievement also, you can get it easy on the trash at the start of any trial instance. Just keep one mob that is easy to heal through. Once you have it setup, the rest can leave, just leaving two of you (one blocking, one healing).
