I made a Daedric vr12 Willow's path shield a while ago and was happy with its color. Now that I am vr14 I wanted to upgrade to a new shield with a different set bonus. I made a Daedric r14 Ashen's Grip Shield and It is a different color. Both shields are legendary(gold mats), same style, but have different set gears and traits.

I know the color difference is small but in the day time the one looks brownish pink and the othere one looks grey. Why is this?

I'm guessing each set has a different color. You could craft another one of Willow's Path and see if it's the same color as your original

Wouldn't have this issue if they allowed us to dye our shields like the rest of our armour.

Yes... that would be cool if we could.

Actually, if you look carefully, the first image is darker than the second image. Check the colors on the walls and verify against the shadow darkness. My guess is a monitor / settings issue.

Higher level gear also tends to have a slightly different color. Maybe make a VR14 Willow's Path shield and see if it's that.

Yeah I went and made vr9 through vr14 shields with no set gear. vr9 through vr12 are the darker gray and vr13 and vr14 have the more brownish pink color. Really don't like the new color might make a new vr12 and live with the lower stats. Thanks for the ideas on how to check it without spending to much gold on mats
