How to tell if abilities are stacking (DoTs for example)

Hey all,
Is there any easy way to tell whether abilities are stacking? Or, do all abilities presumably stack unless specifically stated somewhere that they don't?
My main concern is using something like Dark Talons combined with Unstable Flame as a DK. Both give a DoT effect - are they stacking?

Janduin✭✭Everything from different spells 'should' stack, although the same affect from multiple people might not. AOE limits targets to six currently.

✭✭✭CLS can give you a good idea of what happens with your dots. In my experience the system is a complete mess. Some things stack some don't, some skills can add a dot to more than one target some can't. One example is cripple&morphs which will add a dot only on the last target hit by the skill.Burning seems to not stack for one player skills but do for multiple players .
