I ended up not participating in the final push because I'd just come home after work and decided to cook dinner instead, but from what I gather the feat took a monumental effort from multiple guilds on both opposing factions, and it wasn't as if AD just rolled over they fought pretty hard. They managed to hold onto their last scroll last I checked.

There was perhaps some collaboration with a red guild or two, I was there for some of it, it was actually pretty funny.

Some days, I am legit ashamed that my main faction is AD, we really need to get it together and stop with the ego stroking in zone and the like, we really as a whole suck man, like a lot.

Every day you see on Thornblade like 10 different guys try to be "t3h leadorz" and order everyone around, but no one wants to listen because they themselves are the "epix boss manz" that knows better than anyone else.

This is why our faction still uses meat and fire on stone walls, still tries to single file charge into killboxes, and still cant get past the whole nightblade gank single target build.

People wonder why bomb groups destroy them, they dont build to counter them, at all.

I wish id rolled DC first, invested my mains into DC or even EP. Its too late for that now, but honestly every time I see the whine... and I know what happened most of the time, it makes me cringe.

My Vice guildie Saphyroth said it best before he quit the game out of frustration with the crashes "Ry why are we on the B team faction? We should have been in DC, these yellows are just farming fodder"

Maybe so, but in my experiences the teamspeaks and zone chats of the other factions are always way better than in AD

Sure guilds like TKO, Alacrity, Decibel, and others might be good and coordinated on their own merit, but how often do we ever actually coordinate with each other or outside of our comfort zone of people.

Not very often, and normally when we do, it gets more hostile to each other than we are to our opponents.

A point: Ive had more rage tells and arguments with other AD people than I have ever had in /w with DC or EP guys. Even here on the forums.

With all the emperor swapping and all the former emperor titles I see on the server, being emperor has lost it's lure for me, and is now just kinda lame any more, but I do like killing them number one on my kill list..:)

What emperor swapping?

For the last month its been just Ezareth and Tyago flipping back and forth, and now a blue gets involved.

How is it swapping when its the same couple guys getting it over and over?

They 500 ad from thorn will want their buff server back. My farm will be great though. Sadly, The Lord Fixate cannot overcome the entire scourge.

sad I went to the movies instead of getting in on this, had I realized what happened I would of put off fury to another day.

That being said glad I could help a bit for the end of it before maintenance, couldnt stop laughing at the ESO hide and seek champion doing his usual, I honestly didnt even realize lord fixate was emp until I saw sun tzu could only ball lightning 14 times instead of 19.

now, off to work so i can finish early and get in on this sweet booty AP farm.

I think this has to be good for all PvP players. Unfortunately some people NEVER listen! You can say "Stop shooting arrows at the guys with wings wrapping around themselves!" and see 8 low lvl AD people shooting arrows and crystal shards over and over at them.

I have been on Haderus a few days now using Quickly-Kills-For-Skooma and have had a lot of fun. Im using a glass cannon build sniping people for 2k+ and racking up AP like crazy. When a coordinated group shows up though and wipes us over and over, it takes the wind out of our sails.

Hopefully some people come over from other campaigns and make it a fight more often. I could care less about having a buff server, i like having not to wait to get in Thorneblade and then crashing every 15 min.

So is AD's buff server done for? I know, I know, they're just going to recap everything in the off hours you say. But now the other factions have a taste for action on this campaign, meaning primetime trial runners and Thorn players will often be missing full buffs.

I would hope my actions can encourage some of the hardcore and pug guilds from thorn to switch over. One can hope, all hail the lord fixate.

Nobody has better zone chat than EP, if you don't roll an EP alt you're missing out.

Surely this isn't the same fixate from wabba. I mean the guy from wabba ran around with a pocket healer named Nicole. and they were....hard to kill. The fixate I have been catching and obliterating on thorn the last few weeks falls far short of the original. Funny posts though .

Take the campaign. It's worthless as a buff campaign just like all the others.

If your fighting EP on Haderus there is a very very high chance that it is my group. Our goal with 'Team Purple' is very simple and transparent. We want to remove it as a buff server for -all- factions. My group does not want to paint the map red neither do the DC wish to paint it blue. We are in the process of reverting everyone back to their home keeps (after punishing AD for a little bit) and restoring Haderus as a fun and competitive alternative to Thornblade where you can find smaller fights, less zergs and less Impulse Batswarm Monkies.

Once the map is reset, all bets are off and we will begin battling for the throne and local buffs as will DC and AD. Until then, team purple will prevent AD from using it as a buff server. That is the extent of our agreement.

I've tried and tried and tried to use zone chat to get people to work together but everyone's constantly content to be individuals and spiteful and the direct result of that is loss of objectives.

These guys hate those guys, those guys never want to work with those other guys.

Cats and dogs living together! Mass hysteria!

We have numbers on the constant but as the concerted efforts of an outnumberd DC have shown time and time again.

Quality>Quantity.

I wish the majority of AD players that aren't team players and don't follow the crown and don't add anything constructive to any situation would really remove their heads from their 5th points of contact.

I feel most people who join groups don't do so because they want to coordinate and strategise, but because they want to leech AP/exp off the group. Even if they get 0 kills and stand in a corner, they get rewarded.
It would explain why most pug groups have half the group or more who completely ignore the crown and do whatever they please.
