Whats people opinions on a new set of death animations.
ie depending on what killed you changes the death animation.
1. Cleaved in two before vanishing.
2. Charred black before being blown away in the wind.

Something other than just collapsing to the ground.
One for every combat attack basically although some could probably be shared.
Do you need a death recap if you can visually see how you died ?

I know the fighters guild hunter has a nice crit effect and dust pile sometimes. More of this kind of thing.

Seriously though. I would like some new death animations. Not necessarily being chopped in two but something with a little more oomph. I would also like to see more for enemies, maybe where they grab their throats bend over puke up blood then die or something.

They already have some of these animations you are naming. If using a sword, you will occasionally get a dying enemy clutching his throat and presumably spewing blood (never stopped to watch it in its entirety). Using fire on an enemy occasionally causes them to catch fire and turn to ash. Electricity causes an ash pile. Poison causes dead enemy to turn to a greenish blob that pustulates (word?). I am sure there are more. I don't know what causes the specific animations (odds), except that the killing blow needs to be with the effect.

Who waits around for an enemy to die to watch it? Unless they are a boss, I am looting them before they hit the ground and moving on to the next mob.

As long as they don't slow the game down (like the Bloody Mess Perk or the Skyrim Kill Cam) they can add more death animations to the game. I might even watch some of them as I go along.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

Whats the point of butterflies, flowers leaning in the wind, seeds blowing around in a gentle breeze, lightining and thunder, the ripples on the water.

Just more eye candy basically that draws your attention "into" the game I guess. Perhaps it would be lost on large scale PVP, but small fight PVE and PVP should be enhanced a little.

Yes.... come to think of it there are a couple more. Just seems the repertoire is seriously limited/lacking.

    1. Poison/ acid green body on ground that sizzles.
    2. Burst of flame and ash pile on the ground.
    3. Collapses and dies.
    4. ????

Perhaps there are more than I realised and I just don't come across them ? A the end of the day we spend a lot of time killing NPC and monsters so should we not make each experience as memorable/interesting/unique as possible ?
